Ernyoka1: Thanks for the feedback. Schlabber: I do have a cheaper model Digital Fixed lens [a HP model of a few years ago] and this is what I consider my 'snapshot' or 'photo sharing' camera. I still prefer my old SLRs for serious work. And you are right...cost of film, processing chemicals, and photo print paper is outrageous. Prices and standards on these used to be pretty much set by the silver market, now it is "charge what you can get".

Let me take another shot...GIRL may end up being nothing more than a spinoff of Vicky3 or Steph Petite? As far as I am concerned the PC might as well be named Vicky3/Mike3 Club as the majority of new stuff is for them. I don't use either one and think for the bucks that Steve Shanks Poser World is a better buy.

I agree, MachineClaw...racking the brain trying to figure it all out is basically a waste of time. The only rule is; there are no rules... what works for this one is no good for that one. Of all the toonish gals available, it seems that Alexa gets more support and items produced than any of the others. There is something new at 3D Commune for her on almost a weekly basis, plus the freebie Alex board is very productive. Koshini gets quite a few new items also from time to time. [Another issue in all of this: Trying to seperate what some people consider anime type and toonish type can shake the beans up in the brain!]

Schlabber: I used to be a freelance photographer and have a lot of SLR equipment, including Leica cams/lens [best in the world]. I have not kept up on the new Digital cameras, but wonder did Leica produce any digital cameras?

I checked out the Kim Goossens site a long time ago and did think there was a resemblance between GIRL and Neftoon Gal. A couple of things I don't understand after all the rave postings about the GIRL at different sites: 1. Since Neftoon Gal has the strongest resemblance to GIRL over the other toon gals, why don't we see more pictures of her in the galleries, or products in the stores for her? 2. Even if GIRL is a D|S model why is info on her limited to Platinum Club members? What sort of marketing strategy can this be on Daz's part?

I see that I am going to have to be the one to clarify this. In the 'great' world of acronyms such as; FBI, CIA, USA...and TGIF to name only a few, GREAT is only used in the art world and is actually a negative comment. [GREAT] = Gawd, Re-do Everything And Trash! I do hope this will not spoil the good feeling of those folks who have always believed they were getting 'great' compliments on their work. PS - Anyone who takes this post seriously, please don't flame me. Just go to my gallery and comment GREAT on all my work, please!

Okay, this may sound stupid...but what/where does one locate temp Poser files? In all the time I have used the pgm I never saw or heard of them... of course I use Poser 4 so if this applies to P5 it doesn't matter.

For sure get Schlabber's posing tutorial as JVRenderer suggests, it should be subtitled the "Poser Poser's Encyclopedia".

BecSchm link is one of the best sites for free shoes...but you should be able to fit most any Vicky shoes to the preteen as the mesh is based on Vic2.

If none of this is possible, I would to see the "search" feature be a bit more forgiving of spelling and case-sensitivity. Like a spell checker listing options of other words or spelling. A lot of times you want to search for a specific character or whatnot...and not sure of the exact name or the poster has misspelled it in the first place. [This is true of both the freebie board and the store.]

Only way I know to fix this is mucho postwork cutting/pasting, cloning and such. At least that is whatI do in extreme cases, feeling comfortable with a good graphics editing program can cover up or change many of the shortcomings found in Poser pictures.

Very nice morphing job...she is very appealing. Unfortunately, I don't use P5 or Judy or I would grab her.
