Thread: No Support For Vue | Forum: Vue
Such a lame excuse to start a quarrel!!! I'm quiet sure I've seen few threads where ppl were giving e-on two thumbs up for the 4.2 beta. If they all can download and their serial # can be recognized; why not ONLY few ppl like V777??? Even though I could care less ... But, I think the problem might be very simple. As passwords or serials are very sensitive matters, they use high encryptions. And I'm quiet sure e-on's site is written in ASP or PHP or something like that. So, unless your browser is high encryption capable, there is a very good chance that you might have trouble with serials or passwords and such. I suggest first you check if you have 128bit encryption in your Internet Explorer or whatever browser you use. And Guitta, whenever you come to New York, give me a call, I would be honored to give you a free tour. :-) You have my utter respect for all the help you provide us!

I use ATI in my both (old) machine, and Open GL works just fine! Rage Fury Pro (old & very cheap but comes with Open GL full accelaration feature)

:-) I use the Backroom > Archtips as my reference guide. As I'm no good at reading manuals, I take direction from ppl's conversations. :-)

right next to the atmosphere editor the next button is meterial summery. From there you can choose just the bark or just the leaves, and edit that one. Hope it helps.
Thread: Slow refresh rate, memory problem? | Forum: Vue
You are blaming the wrong guy! Vue has nothing to do with it. Same goes for the memory. Your Processor has a new hobby now. It's your Cable who is doing the damage. Because of cable now you have lots of open ports at all time. Which is bringing in lots of unwanted traffics. The netBIOS became very social and some software goes directly online searching for updates and stuffs. Not to mention all the trackers you got from all the porn sites and warez sites, while peaking in there. :-) So, the bottom line is there are so much going on in the background that your CPU can't give much attention to VUE any more. CPU is busy doing social work, rather then listening to you. :-)

Congratulations Yves. Believe it or not, like Patrick I knew right away it's your work. I still believe you are the best lighting artist in Vue. :-)
Thread: Newbie Question | Forum: Vue
Well I guess you are the lucky/unlucky one! Mine (Vue 4) has 1 "Application" and 1 "Extras". Probably a newbie at Vue office packed your CDs. I'm sure if you contact them they will have a better answer for you.

lol ... not a bad idea. But, is it gonna slow down Vue? Sigh ... I wish I had a PC with Pentium100 with ten thousand MB Ram. :-)
Thread: Gallery changes on the Ranking feature | Forum: Community Center
Hm! I never thought Standard Deviation would be used for Rankings! Even though I think it's not a full proof method, but I would love too see trolls out of here. Would have been great if you (tammymc) guys take off those words and put just plain simple numbers. You know, 3 or 4 out of 10 is much easy to accept then "Hmmmmmmm", "almost there" or "Interesting"! I wonder, why would you use words for ranking, when you are doing the same thing in comments!!!

Would love to know what is the reason for this. As I encountered this few times of my own. I usually restart the PC to bring it back to normal.
