Thread: How to import pz3 into vue4.2 ? | Forum: Vue
Hello Klisis good question and has been covered a few times here in the forum and there seems to be many opinions on this subject. In the search link under the main table click search then type in (import pz3)and a whole list of threads will show up for your reading and direction to help you with this problem. Of course any major problems with the program can be asked at e-on's site as well.http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Support/index.php I am sure you will figure this one out and good luck with the Vue4.2. Regards

Thread: Vue Newbie -> Does Increasing RAM Speed Up Render Time? | Forum: Vue
Rendering is an extremely complex and time consuming process by which your PC converts the 3D geometrical description of the scene into a 2D picture. Ram can really assist in (making) the scene and contribute as well to the render however I would study the manual on rendering as most of the time the speed has to do with the multitude of settings you can create in the Render Options menu. Vue4Pro seems to take much more ram than Vue4 I guess it really depends on you and the type of scenes you wish to create. I am currently working on a 4.6 million polygon scene in Vue4pro and with the quality settings I prefer for prints this scene will take about 15 days to render with 1 gig of ram on my XP OS. :O) Regards.

Thread: How do you get really clear images? | Forum: Vue
Vue4Pro seems to give the best looking renders with the new improved engine. Also, rendering in ultra mode and using shadow mapping really helps personally I use 600dpi at a larger size than needed then resized in photo shop at the highest quality setting seems to be a helpful technique as well. Regards

Thread: XSI 3.5 and Vue 4 Professional? | Forum: Vue
Hi Ching what program are you using? Vue4 or Vue4 Professional? Or are you using the demo version offered at e-on? http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Products/vue4pro/index.php at the bottom of this link it states:*Synchronization plug-ins and file format support for 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, LightWave, Maya, Softimage XSI... Again I will mention opinions from other users are what the Renderosity Vue forum is about. For specifics it maybe wise to contact tech support: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Support/index.php With all the considerations and questions you have I can't wait to see your first Vue scene. Good luck in your effort.
