Depends on how you look at it...but both, for entirely different reasons.
I am looking for some internal organs that I can parent to V3 and M3, for a post surgery scene. One vendor on rotica had some, but that particular item was removed for various reasons.
In conjunction, Â I am also looking for a morph, or "something" that would simulate the skin being folded back (like a surgical incision) in the stomach area.
These would be for a medieval "mad scientist" type scene...

Not a specific image, but lets say some props, and even a character.
I tried contactingthe specific artist, again on rotica, and was basically ignored.

Here's what I started, I'm working on getting the framework done, then I'll add my details...

Here's where I think you have to decide what you are willing to put up with...
I would think, if you took a lower poly-count, you would start losing detail (at least the way I understand 3-d models (several years ago, I saw a model of the titanic in the millions, but the detail was stunning).
However, as you state, the higher the polycount, the more burdonsome an object can become, unless you have a machine that can handle high-poly counts (industry level)
So, having said that, for me, quality is more important, and I'm willing to do some post-work.

Correct me if I am wrong...
I think for the injections to work, you need to purchase the body and head morphs. I was in the same boat when I first started.
However, if you are willing to pay the $10/month, join DAZ's platinum club. With this membership, you get 30% off DAZ originals + $5 voucher every month. You also can buy certain things for $1.99, which, if you need props, it's a good deal.
The 30% of the DAZ originals was enough for me. If you do it right, you can buy a ton of stuff for a fraction of the cost.
If Renderosity offered that sort of thing, I KNOW you'd get 1 new member!!! Well, maybe not the great deal DAZ offers, but a $10 voucher or something neat for a membership fee...

Everyone, I would like to thank all of you for providing links and ideas.
These are exactly what I am looking for :thumbupboth:
I know I will be able to use them all, and thanks to the materials room...I'll be rocking and rolling!!!

Thread: Refrain from Jests | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
So then I have a question
With my "off with their heads" thread, was it in-appropropiate to use the violence warning?
My belief is that I would rather know ahead of time that a particular post MAY contain violence, nudity etc. After all isn't lopping someone's head off a tad violent (not meaning to sound sarcastic). By the same token, should I have used a flag for my "furries" post?
Granted, I'm sure there are those that OVER-use/UNDER-use flags, but I think there will always be "grey" areas, like mine. I would like to know (and maybe it's in a post somewhere) beyond the obvious postings, when should a flag be used?
Thoughts?
