It's a term that started as an endearing "jab" among anthropomorphic aficionados, but has since been adopted by the popular press to stereotype fans of "talking animal" characters, often associating them (wrongly, I might add)with practicioners of zoophilia or bestiality. I use it with its original friendly context. Lemurtek's "Second Nature" hybrids and Little Dragon's 'toon styled "Furrette" are classic examples of this artform and fandom. Lt. M'Ress from the animated Star Trek would be another. Just for kicks, I tried to rally Renderosity members to campaign DAZ (in a benevolent fashion) for a "realistically" designed hybrid felinoid female of "Millenium" quality. Needless to say, that crusade kinda' sputtered. Oh, I could, of course, commission their custom services, but it would cost me between 3 and 4 THOUSAND dollars. I fear I may have created my own quirky reputation here at Renderosity. Several members probably expect me to ask the following question. Let me not disappoint them. Will one of the morph add-on packages allow me to "mutate" her into an anthropomorphic character, say a felinoid? Actually the existing ones for Victoria 2 work decently enough, especially with the right textures (ie, the "Fantasy Feline" pack), except for the ears. Will you release a pack that will create a more animalistic or feral appearance with truer cat-like ears? You're probably thinking, "Oh no! It's Bill Again! Do we even have to wonder what he wants?! Hold on; he's about to state his plea..." Well, who am I to break tradition? ;-) Though I know it's highly unlikely, I'd love to purchase a DAZ Millenium quality anthropomorphic cat girl with an ERC tail and digitigrade feet! Interesting... I know from the first post these particular morph settings are supposed to make Victoria 3 resemble Anna Marie Goddard, but has anyone noticed that the figure more closely resembles Marta Kristen than does Judy from Poser 5? That's the first thing I thought when I saw that new figure as well, Stuart Little homages. I'm getting it regardless, but does anyone know if it's Mimic compatible? Since DAZ went to the trouble of making it bipedal as well as quadropedal, one would assume they'd code a few facial morphs. If it can at least open its mouth using a dial listed within the head, I can always "Spawn a Morph Target" labeled "OpenLips." Sincerely, Bill

Jaqui, I will admit you're on the right track. It is a literary reference as opposed to one from film or television. Here's a hint, few people associate title with the book. Instead, they think of a world famous music group.
