Realmling is correct. Select the V3 and add your conforming top to her. Conform the top to her first, select V3 again and load your bottom. Conform the bottom to V3 and she should be all dressed. Once you get the knack of dressing your characters with conforming clothing, it becomes routine.
Thread: Where do you extract zip files to please? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Most of the time, if th author is considerate, the folder extracted from a zip will be a runtime folder which should go into the Poser main folder. If you follow jester's suggestion about unzipping in a special folder, the contents can be transferred folder by folder or the entire runtime folder can be mover to the Poser folder. But do not move it into the Poser runtime folder, you will never see the content. Transfer to the Poser folder, you will see an overwrite warning, just click yes. You will not lose anything, but the new content will be deposited into its new home in the right places (hopefully).

Thread: library manager of some sort | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Realmling hit the nail on the head. I have a separate runtime for stuff that I work on from scratch. Also have a special runtime for projects, those thoughful scenes that require special content for one time use only. Afterwards, the content of the folder is either deleted or transferred to disk for future consideration. What is important, keep your frequently used content together for easy access. Use what is necessary for your project and then delete afterwards. Always keep your purchased/freebie content in a safe place (disk, external HD, etc); don't unzip and delete them. Usually the readme's will have specific instructions or special free offers. You will be surprized how quickly your library will grow.

Thread: Script to make poser figure look into camera? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think the problem with the point at... where the head is concerned is having the face follow the prop rather than the head. Must try this out, but I believe the head as a whole will have a tendency to move with the prop. But again I could be wrong.

A free software which can give you a look-see view into your runtime folders is P3DO Explorer.

I recommend to actually create external runtimes of your content divided into manageable categories. One large runtime (2 gigs) will cause your program to run slower because Poser needs to construct its library every time you open it. I did the same mistake years ago, will never repeat it again.
Thread: Strange artifacts on large render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Wow. Do you really need a render that large? The file size will be staggering. I really think it's overkill. But those artifacts look very distinct. They may be from a mat.

I believe there is a script over at RuntimeDNA which can control both eyes at once. But that doesn't answer the question. The true and tested procedure is what jester posted, have each eye point at the camera. Just make sure that the camera is set up in it's final position. Better yet, create a sphere prop, point the eyes at the prop, position the prop and then make it invisible. And if you happen to move the camera accidentally, the eyes won't go rolling up into the head. (Frightening thought!)

Yep, that's Aiko 3 LE alright! Good job. Come back to us when you have more questions. Meantime, check out the tutorials at DAZ and Rendo, read them carefully and apply what you learn to Poser. But you must read those tutorials carefully, there will be instructions you may not understand, or you may need other content or software you may not have quite yet.

Yes, definitely set the transparency fall off and edge to zero. Your outline will complete disappear when rendered.

Thread: Newbie question again! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Michael and Victoria will appear under 'DAZ People' and Aiko 3 LE has her own folder. All can be found in 'Figures' of the runtime folder.
