Not sure that I would discount #11 either, even if you don't create content, it is very useful if you do any clothing conversion when using weight mapped figures.

Pretty sure that the only way to do something like that would be to use the advanced figure set up tools for Daz Studio 3 and create exp files for your morphs ( and no, not a clue how difficult or easy that might be to do or what the process is at all).  Like anything there might be a way to code the process manually, but if so, I've never heard anyone talk about it.

Also, you might be able to use the current content creator tools, but I don't know if those still support the creation of exp.  Mostly stuff you will probably have to ask at Daz about to get useful answers.

Okay, makes sense.  sigh Guess if I am going to tinker I will have to break weak and finally learn how to use both PML and PFE.  I have a bad habit of buying tools and never mastering their use.

Dumb question time. :)  Is there a special reason to export the object from Poser in Alyson2's case, as opposed to just using the .obj ?(normally in the geometries folder, but located in the character folder in Alyson's case)

I ask because, whenever I have attempted tinkering in the past,  I have always just used a copy of the base obj since my feeble brain has difficulty holding on to the info about which obj import and export options need to be used for which tasks. lol

Not knowing what is in your library, it won't be possible to give you an answer on everything.  In general though the answer is yes on most things Generation 4 figures and earlier.  If you have a lot of Daz Studio light sets and  DS materials, those won't work.  The rule of thumb is that if it was made in a poser format it should work, but that is a generalization.

Yup, really do need Alyson content.  She is begging...

Definitely a desire for such content from me.  I don't need any leather underwear for her or any fetish type pieces, but do need pretty much everything else.  My only caveat to a vendor thinking about support, is that they please, please actually support Alyson2.  I love the Anastasia character and use her a lot( but not all females in my renders can be Anastasia),  I also use the Alyson 2 full body morphs and so far, no one has supported those.

I guess if I am going to add my voice I should be a little more specific than I need everything, lol , so :  Not much interest in sci fi here, but historical, some fantasy, jeans, shoes (heels, sandals, sport, low heeled boots), shirts and blouses, shorts, ballgowns and dance and sports clothing, business wear, winter outerwear, you get the idea.  :)

Definitely a whole wardrobe is needed.  I have been using her pretty consistently, experimenting in the face room and snagging character packs for some skin variety, but I am getting worn out shoehorning her into other figure's clothing and dealing with hit or miss conversions.  And very tired of the plain face and shoulders portrait.

I would be interested in such a thing.  As to what is normally expected, I think that depends on the focus of the resource.  For a clothing resource pack I would look for a donor/developers .cr2 and perhaps a base bodysuit with feet to chop on.  For character development it would be a seamless base skin to add details to that included a few eye options.  And while I am dreaming it would be nice ( since Chunk is a free character) if the licensing would allow for the creation of freebies as long as sufficeint changes were made to the base resource. :)

Was having trouble with the eyes, first they rendered black, so switched some of the material definitions on them, then they rendered black, so switched stuff again and then they had black patches, but I finally found a setup that rendered correctly.  Based on the names of the material zones it seems a little odd, but hey, whatever works.  Here is the corrected one:
