I think that OpenSubDiv was updated from v2 in PP2014 to v3 in P11, so might also be relevant. I'll add it to the report.

There was a change in the boundary rule between PP2014 and P11 to make subD work better with older meshes - in PP2014 everything was smoothed, in P11 the corners remain sharp (i.e. a vertex with two edges will not smooth). I don't have PP2014 anymore though, so can't test that.
I've duplicated this issue with some other LF clothing and will put in a bug report. @Karth - it would help if you would do the same via the form at support.posersoftware.com as the more they get on this the higher the priority it will receive.
I will say that from a content creation POV subD is usable as I've been making subD meshes for years for Poser. However, as my meshes are designed for subD I always UV map the subD mesh, not the poly cage, so I've not come across this issue.
Screenshot below is of La Femme's Fad sneakers with a procedural checker material and textured wireframe display mode. The distortion is quite clear when the subD level is changed.

I make subD meshes, but I use UV Layout Pro to create UV's - it has a subD option. Poser uses Pixar's OpenSubDiv which is Catmull-Clark subD AFAIK. Can you post some screenshots that show the problem you're getting?

Read the bit on Fresnel in particular - reflectivity of a surface will change depending on the angle of the light falling onto it.

The cap is looking good but the band above the peak has very noticeably fewer polygons than everything else. This is giving really visible facets in the render. Could you try adding some more edge loops to get more curve to that shape?

High valence vertices are nasty, ugly, headache-inducing monstrosities. When rendered or morphed they have a tendency to blow chunks all over the place, big sticky ones too. Quad caps, in comparison, are sweet, forgiving and very furry. They adore being deformed and divided. Fortunately there are many ways to turn gremlins into mogwai, and this one does not involve violence of any kind, though you may use a blender if you like.

Thread: Help with old Daz3d Dynamic garment | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Only if you need to go back to the scene though it's been a while since I used dynamic cloth myself! If you are just doing a drape to fit the figure, I think you can save the draped cloth back to the library as a prop to avoid draping again (but don't overwrite the original).

Save the scene first, then calculate, see if that works OK.
This should have been fixed in the latest update I think ...

@MissB - how about loading the texture template onto the model in Poser as a diffuse colour map via the Material Room? Duplicate the template first, name it appropriately (MyMap for example) and save it as a jpg or png, set up a very simple shader in Poser and load it, then also load the template in your image editor. Create a new layer to paint on, then when you save it out replace MyMap. In Poser use Reload Textures in the menu to update to the new version of MyMap. Not as quick or accurate as a 3d paint app, but might help a bit?
You can also try colouring the seam edges of the template in different colours to see where they fall on the model in Poser, or flood fill the different UV islands on the template in different colours.
PS. +1 for UV Layout from me too, it cost a lot for Pro but I have never regretted that purchase!

Thread: Poser Pro 11 Import of FBX 2019 version | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In Poser though I've had to create a simple hierarchy for each group of props and rotate -90° on the xRotate dial, then adjust the yTrans to get that group placed on the ground. Then of course the materials need to be sorted out - this set would require some work whatever application it's used with, as the website for KitBash3D makes clear. Once each group of props has been 'poserised' it would need to be saved to the library as a multi-part prop.
I have found some shading issues with one of the towers in Superfly and I am going to look into it further, but I suspect that Superfly wants more geometry, which is definitely not built for subD unfortunately.

Thread: Making a Welded OBJ with Just Poser. | Forum: Poser 11 / Poser Pro 11 OFFICIAL Technical
Could this post be made Sticky please, both in this and in the main Poser 11 forum? Could it also be added to the P11 documentation, even if as a separate text file until there is a full solution? Should I push my luck and ask for a video tutorial if you get time?! Thank you ;)

Thanks for the screenshot, though I have more questions! What is the model of and what is it's origin - did you make it, is it a freebie, or commercial product? Has it been put together in Poser then exported from Poser as FBX, or has it been exported from a different application, and if so which one, and do you know what the export settings were? Though I can't read the screenshot there is a hierarchy there, so is it a rigged model?
The problem is that FBX has a lot more options and variations than OBJ, which is a very simple format by comparison.
