I need nicer neighbors. I like all three but #3 is a bit too cropped on the bottom. The curve of the butt looks chopped off. I like 2 the best, it is a good torso shot.

Hope you got the jacket as well. What a great shot. One of the best pictures I have ever taken was with a yashica that had double lens and the pop up, or open up, view finder that you could barely see anything in. I think it used 127 or 126 film that I haven't been able to find for a while now - haven't looked very hard though. Enjoy playing with it and I'll bet you will be surprised how good of a job it will do for you.

Like them all, especially the old wheel spinning. The blur portrays the motion very well. All very nice shots.

Great resource. Nice website design and layout. I had no problems with the color contrast.

The tip of Grover's nose (I do hope that is a nose)is pointing directly at the section between the upper lip and and the end of the faces nose.

Yep, a tractor, know them well. I like the color distortion, it seems to give it the old look but in a psychedlic way and that's a combo that's hard to pull off. I didn't go see the original.

I agree with everyone. 1&2 are great, 3 needs more of an indication of what is framing it. One needs for the boardwalk to be a little more flat if not completly horizontal and 2 needs some a hand with a dagger peeping from behind a post, it has that "doom" look about it. So, did you eat a hotdog?

Very nice. Looks like a fancy heavily textured oil painting. She looks to sit off the page giving the picutre a very 3d look. Oh and yes, the chick is sweet.Thread: Web Gallery - Opinion on which to use | Forum: Photography

I like 2 better also because I think it puts more attention on the actual photo than it does the website. Honestly, I had a bit of a hard time comprehending the layout of the #1. It wasn't obvious to me for instance that the arrow buttons scrolled and clicking the picture was for that single picture and not a gallery. It could just be me though? Popups do present some technical issues because browsers are not all the same and they will not stay the same, ever, count on that. You may check out the 2 slide show view options I have at my site. These are out of the can JASC Media Center Plus 3.10 conversions to html. They have several options available. Some include captions and have more of a magazine layout. I am not sure if you can tweak or crowbar one of them into the web styles you would like but they are just another way to do the same thing. Good luck, I know how hard this is, look at how boring my first page is for an example. But for me, it's still just a hobby.Thread: Can you find the face? | Forum: Photography
OK here is a hint, bottom left corner. When you blow it up the perspective is kind of lost.

You some strange humaniods. I can see this will be a fun group. As for the bee, catching one that has pitched is easy, try this shot. Not a great picture but hey, I ain't that good yet. The Mavica FD-97 came out about the same time as the CD1000. I think that was the first CD burning Sony. They both came out a little over 2 years ago. I waited for a year for the price to frop from over $800 to around $550 and bought it from eCost January of last year. You still can't find the same camera for less than I paid for it. It has 20x zoom that is progressive from 0 to 20x and does an excellent job. I love zoom and it was a key selling point for this camera. It also has steady shot, so at 20x it doesn't shack all over the place, I haven't seen that feature on hardly any of the newer cameras. It uses floppy, which I thought was worth it at the time but I was wrong :{ but it also uses the memory stick and with a 128meg stick, I get about 150 shots per stick. The batteries last about 2 hours on a charge if you don't use the LCD screen. It has a through the lens veiwfinder that I would not own a camera without. LCD's just don't cut it for me. Oh, a 1200 x 1600 image, the best it will do in jpg format makes about an 800k file, depending on colors, details, etc... The camera is big and bulky, it feels like a 35mm SLR, I also like this. Those new dinky things are too small for me. This camera has some weight and size to it and the controls are spread out enough that you don't have to feel like you are cramming your finger up your nose to get at the various controls. Zoom and a lot of other frequently accessed buttons are on the front of the camera or on the barrel of the lens. Oh darn, I am running on and on. To cut it short, I love the camera and don't think I can replace it with anything less than $1k today and probably not even then. In the past year, I have taken over 2,000 photos and that probably is as much as I have taken and developed for the past 25 years. OK, so there, now you know, never ask me about my camera again. ;-) As for body parts, how the heck do you tack a picture of your armpit? I'm going for the big toe and will make that my contribution later. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible.
