Yea, just CPU. But in Octane you can only render from GPU and I gave scene 10GB of out of core textures to help.

Hmm, I have not seen any with Gen textures. Copying the Hip does supply the parts of the Gen with Textures. Thanks anyway.

No setting in preferences for gpu. Just the pull down in render settings if that's what u mean. Takes forever to render. Nvidia with 4gigs of ram and over 3000 Cuda cores. Otoy Octane render in 1 minute. Poser 30 minutes. Ugh.

Hmmm. Well, I upgraded to Window 8.1 (I'm sure this had nothing to do with it) did fresh installs of everything, and now it seems to be working ok. WTF? LOL. I'll take it!!
Anyway, thanks for your help. Still can't post or attach a pic here. Hmmm. Another mystery for another day.
