Definitely. I've had mixed results with scaling but I think I posted a height scale some time ago. Let me know if you need it again. SamTherapy posted at 5:13PM Sat, 14 November 2020 - #4404466
Here's a copy of part of the ReadMe from my SXT 2000 model (on sale in RMP and you should all buy it because it's bloody good :D ) and what I have to say about scale:
Scaling:
Always a contentious matter in Poser; so I hope you find the following information helpful...
I built the models in Wings3d, using one square per inch. Imported to poser and scaled to 1.115%. This may seem like a strange size but it's the same scale as my Dalek freebies, and that scale was derived from Daleks made by Billy-home and Mechmaster, so it does have some precedent.
Taking the above, you could scale your figures - or scenery and props, as necessary - to the appropriate size using a known model that's built to a particular scale. For example, I use the scale of my amp and Dalek models as my base, and adjust other things in a scene so they look right. Mask-Da's guitars, ISTR, are a little smaller, so they get scaled up. If I was making a building with doorways, I'd use the general size of a UK door, which is 2 metres, or as near as dammit 6' 6".
By that reckoning, La Femme is way too big, Then again, V4 is ludicrously tall, too.

The 970 is pretty comparable with my 580 (Which is no where in the class with your 1070. That thing is a monster) so I can get an idea of your speed. Isn't 200 pixels a lot of samples or am I just a little slow in knowledge when it comes to Superfly? You will not be trolling me if you say yes. I think it might be worth it. Your Urban Future set turned out most excellent.

two video cards show up in your render settings and can be used at the same time.Cuts render times in half. You are rendering two giant tiles at a time with this config. You also have the option to run a render on 1 card and use the other just to run your monitor. In this config I can surf the internet and watch youtoob videos all day long while my machine also renders something in Poser.
That sounds like me now. I do notice a speed boost but my system still chokes at higher settings. Hair is still the meaning of eternity. I worry about stealing cycles from the render. Have you noticed any difference in the array of colors over, say, the integrated chip or a cheaper video card? Plus your video cards aren't matched.
Hmmm, you say Poser is set up to take advantage of crossfire? I do have a spare PCI slot. (SLI for you uninnoculated),

Second thoughts on this is that I don't really see any shadows at all on any of the figures. Are you turning cast shadows off for your lights? What is the lighting setup here? OTOH could be ambience or translucence in your skin shader that is nullifying and shadows on the skin. Essentially turning your figure into a light source.
I just noticed your computer configuration. Does running two graphics cards have a noticeable effect when rendering? One of the reasons I'm not happy with Superfly is the grainiest one gets when you use lower settings. While I prefer firefly for my comic, Superfly might be fun when I'm having fun. Below is my config.
If I could pick up some speed....
W10, Ryzen 5 3600, 16Gb,Radeon RX 580 8GB, PP11, 11.2.307

I just downloaded ezskin2 from CGbytes and it said my version won't work with my (latest) version of Poser 11. I almost exclusively use Firefly. Where can I find the latest compatible version of EZSkin2?
By the way, try putting ezskin2 in your forum search. Mine came up empty despites the fact that I'm sure I've Snarly's fantastic plugin mentioned many times.
I just noticed the fix file. It works!!!

Long enough to find you those Sensible Shoes on one of my old discs lol. Only partially kidding about that one, I may have them tucked away somewhere... It'll probably be a while before I start rummaging for them. But I've made a mental note. Other than that my Poser Fu is EXTREMELY rusty, so it'll be a long road before I can rattle off Poser lore as I once did. Very much interested in learning weight map rigging and it seems like a lot of the things I used to have to hack in text edit are now automated, so that's a relief. I'm grabbing Poser 11 pro this weekend. I run an 8 hour Dungeons and Dragons game for friends every Sunday and work is busy so I'll have to manage my time pretty tightly, other than that I'm looking forward to making various bits and bobs for Poser and reinvigorating my ShareCG gallery. So... I'll be lurking here somewhere.
My beloved big brother once told me "The thought DOES count". So I thank you for that thought. I managed to gain the shoes from mcjASmile. But still I thank you.

And, getting back on topic, basically all the content that comes with Poser 11.2 is new, most from the Renderosity store, and works with Poser 11. The highlights, however, are the Hivewire figures (Dawn, Dusk, Luna, the horse and the gorilla), the new Poser 11 flagship figure (La Femme) and Maise (a toon figure) along with lots of high quality content from some of our oldest, favored artists like DM, etc. I think the ad says something like $900.00 worth of commercial quality content from the store.
The old, tired content is available to you through a separate download on the same page as the new stuff.
Oh! And one of the nicest things of all is that there are no longer pro/non-pro versions of the software. Everyone is now on Poser PRO and has all the pro functions available to them. I think that's one of the smartest moves Renderosity made.
I'm restocking my hard drive with the old content that I lost during the crash. I can't remember for the life of me what the download site was. I could use a clue.

I thought that I had read about it on Renderosity and there was a memorial page for her. I must be dreaming then.
I did check for a memorial page online but found nothing. We've lost too many of our own, my friend. I know I have. Still, let's be thankful for the good things we've got! (SMACKS SAM THERAPY UPSIDE THE HEAD) See? It's the little things that make life special.

I thought that HeadKase had passed.
Why would you think that?
Thread: Looking for HeadKase Sensible Shoes and Bossy Boots | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think it was 2016 when HeadKase shut down their space on ShareCG. They were SOOOOO ticked off. It was Howard Rourke and the Fountainhead all over again. They didn't shut their account however, just removed the shoes. You didn't pick them up did you? They were freebies and she's allowed the redistribution as long as it's members of the community and not that Second Life cult.

The thing that is most attractive to me about La Femme ( although admittedly I've never cared for the GND body type) is the fact that the base morphs and textures can be used and altered (ala merchant resource) and consequently redistributed. I plan on creating characters as freebies if so. Hopefully there are still some .cr2 experts that hang about the forum as I'm not sure how much the file format and function has changed since last I looked. Are Netherworks script suites updated and viable for Poser 11, or even available anymore? Does Phil C still pop in? Does Nerd 3d answer forum questions? Dimension 3D? And what of Baggins Bill? A lot of questions and a lot to catch up on... I lost a bunch of Poser stuff when my last computer died recently.
I believe the La Femme MRs are for commercial use only, not freebies. I could be wrong, though. Rest assured, I will be corrected if I am. :-)
Nethworks' stuff is still available both here and at Hivewire and updated to work in Poser 11 long ago.
PhilC is not around much anymore, though he does pop in occasionally.
Dimension3D passed away some time ago.
Bagginsbill is here occasionally as well.
Nerd is more likely to answer individual question over in the Poser 11 technical forum than here.
I think that answered all your questions.
Yo! Sup!?? I'm so you didn't go away as reported!
Oh and don't forget about Simon 3-D. I don't know if you were around when he passed but I corresponded with him. He was beyond cool and is still missed.

Oh now, they want to moderate! Better late than never, I suppose. So I got moved! No worries.
How nice of everyone to let me return.
Those hugs certainly felt nice! Thank you all. It's good to be back.
Torquinox, Digitell, Knyghtmare, Sam, Hborre! MissB (I'm blushing), Kerya (I'm blushing more), Ghostship (thx for the patience!) Dustrider! What a pleasant surprise. Again, thanks to all!
