Are you using the translucency poses on M3/V3 or the skeleton?  The poses are for M3/V3.  They don't affect the skeletons.  They're designed to make M3/V3 partially see-thru so you can see the skeleton underneath.

The problem was that IK was turned on.  If you posed the skeleton then turned off IK the bones would snap back into place.

Umm ... saying that you have to buy every single D|S plugin to calculate D|S's cost isn't fair unless you do that for Poser as well.

Hmm ... Now Poser is $898 ($719 if you don't get the BodyStudio C4D plugin since you have Kuroyume0161's C4D plugin) and that's with only a few of the Poser plugins out there. 

Should I toss in Virtual Fashion, Poser Physics, Wardrobe Wizard, Clothing Converter, etc.?  That puts Poser well over $1000.

I'm not saying that D|S has all the features of Poser, but if you're going to put in pwShader as a D|S cost then you should put in Olivier's Shaders as a Poser cost because they're roughly equivalent in functionality - both add to the render effects of their respective programs.  If you're going to include the FBX importer (which Poser doesn't have) as a manditory D|S cost then you should put in at least one 3rd party importer as a manditory Poser cost. 

Some people don't have any need for any of the D|S plugins.  The free base does just what they want.  Their cost is $0.  Others need plugins, so their cost is more than $0 but not necessarily $270.  On the opposite side, some people don't need all the stuff in Poser but they still pay the same as those who use all the features.  I use only 2 of the 7 rooms.  I sure didn't pay $42 (2/7th of $149) for my version of Poser.  I'm not griping about it, just pointing out that it's a matter of perspective.

Have you tried deleting the shortcut that was created, going to where UTC was installed, creating a shortcut there, then moving it wherever you need it?

Up to 50% of a voucher can be used on PA items and 100% of it can be used on DAZ items. If you have a $5 PClub voucher and want to use it on a brokered item that's $5, you can use up to $2.50 of the voucher. (It's almost always the full 50%; there are only a few exceptions.) If it's a DAZ Original item that's $5 then you can use the entire voucher and get the item for free. If the item is $10, then the voucher will (almost always) be usable for the full $5 amount of the voucher. You can't use the voucher on resale items like XFrog Trees, but that's a very small percentage of the store and those are marked as resale items. Hope this helps, Cres

PP or D|S. I have P4 thru P6 installed, but P5&6 are too slow for not enough gain quality-wise.

If you're going for the anime look, I'd go for Anime Doll and/or Aiko 3 figure-wise. Snow Sultan has a really good tutorial for doing cell shading using D|S if you're interested: http://www.daz3d.com/support/tutorial/index.php?id=1502 You can mix and match the materials so you have transparency where you need it, such as the eyelashes, and have more of a cel-shaded look elsewhere. Exactly how copyrightable poses and such are is a grey area because there's no legal ruling. If you use MS Word to create a thesis on Poser copyright law, that document is copyrighted by you even though you used only 26 different letters and probably 3 to 4 different punctuation marks. I couldn't grab your document, change a few words, then claim it was my own creation. On the other hand, I could write my own thesis on Poser copyright law and although it would be the same topic and contain much the same terminology as yours, each of us would have our own copyrighted work. As for arguing on length determining how copyrightable something is, there's a problem with that: You can't copyright a word. You can copyright a poem. How many words does it take to make a poem? Regardless of legality, ethically it's not nice to take someone else's work, make a few changes, then call it your own without the original creator's permission.

If you go to the chest/shoulders and apply the morphs for the body parts manually, do they work? If so, it could just be something named wrong in the .cr2 file which is pretty easy to fix.

I've seen it with the left leg, myself. I've also had the feet shift if I use the face camera at certain angles - just moving the camera shifts the feet. I love my Poser, really I do.

Is the samurai on an otherwise transparent image. (I.e. only the samurai, nothing else in the image?) If so, can you place the samurai layer above this layer then erase out any pieces that should be hidden - that would be blocked by what's in front of the samurai? Hope this helps, Cres
