Quote - Instead, you set up glowing objects with real shapes, or a glowing environment sphere with real shapes embedded in its image (either works fine).
Then you set up the eye surface to implement realistic Fresnel reflections.
Then you make sure you're using gamma correction.
And you use IDL.
That is exactly the look i am aiming for...yes i am after realism. As usual BB input is invaluable!...he also explains the steps to achieve this look. He talks about setting up glowing objects with real shapes or a glowing env sphere with shapes embedded. And then he says that the eye surface has to be set up to use fresnel reflections. He also says that no lights were used in his render...the only light source was the light of the window.
I have never set up glowing objects with real shapes in poser...so i have no idea how this is done...can some one please exsplain to me how to do this?...
The whole idea is that all my characters get this realistic look on their eye surface!...and this can be achieved following the procedure described above...but as i said before...i have never done this in poser...
Any tutorial on setting up glowing objects in poser?...i am sure that this is very easy for seasoned poser users...but i am still learning...so bear with me.
Thanks for reading.

Well bottom line:
It seems that after reading these posts about Freak 5 in Poser...there seems to be more negative reactions then positive...
I think that if i want to use Freak 5 to its full potential, and without glitches and errors...i might as well just install him into Studio, where it gives no problems and works the way he is supposed to work...after all he was designed for Daz anyway. The problem is that mostly i use Poser for my work instead of Daz Studio...so that is why i am a bit dissapointed to read that it will never work perfectly within Poser...
So at the end of the day...if i want to use any Genesis base figure...i will just use Studio.
Funny thing is...that no where the vendors and the creators of the Genesis platform figures make known all the issues that i read here in the posts...yes...they created the DSON importer to make it all work in Poser...but then why all the glitches and imperfections?...they never mention that you will be confronted with them...in my opinion they could at least have said that we must not expect any Genesis figure or its derivatives to work as good in Poser as it works in Studio. At least that way you would know before hand what to expect.

Well, in that case...how did all the man in these promos get their obvious bulge under the briefs that they are wearing?...was this also done with magnets or morph tools?...

One more question...
Can these crashes be caused if Poser is not updated to SR 1?...or does it not matter if it is updated or not.
Thread: Freeze | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I dont know of any driver getting updated automatically...
And as for viruses...i havent scanned for them.
Are the above issues known to cause Poser and pc freezes?...
