PS. FYI I have just tested this for speed by a trial copy of my old P5 characters library (165MB of library files, in total 314MB of files including referenced files) with CRPro. That includes performing the special scan and carrying out the copy operation in the C ''n' D tool as shown in the tutorial.
Completed in in 3 minutes flat... So soesn't take long!

CRPro has many, many cards up it's sleeve! It is most commonly used to scan and repair bad references, but the Content and Dependencies Tool allows you to copy or move content (together with all the referenced files) and make content zip packages.I've made a quick tutorial to show how to do this... I've gone into a lot of detail, but I'm sure you'll all see it's really just a couple of easy steps.
Hope this helps!!

Hope this is clear!!!
Coincidentally, I'm just working on a quick patch to fix a bug so anyone purchasing CRPro II right now should e-mail me for the patch!!!!!

Thread: Runtime Division? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
CRPro II has the facility to move tracts of content and dependant files to another runtime. It even checks to make sure that textures and geometries are not used elsewhere before moving them! If textures or geometries are used by other content they are copied instead. This works through the Content and Dependancies tool.......
Usually, you would use CRPro to scan through content files fixing incorrect references and various syntax issues. However, the Content and Dependencies tool allows you to perform a special content scan where it gathers information about the content and all dependant files. Then you simply select the content files (as shown in the image) and hit the "Copy or move check-marked content and dependencies" toolbutton. From here, you can also create a zip file of the content if you wish:)
I'll post another pic.....

Thread: Begging Tromnek: pls pls please do Poser7-friendly PRPCD | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
I agree with Yarp...
Having the PRPC Daemon open only when needed is a good workaround.
PBooost Virtuoso already has an option for the script to be closed after use, or closed after "n" seconds of inactivity. This is a hidden option in the latest version as I wasn't sure if it would be useful:)) Good job I left it in!
It seems a little cloak-and-dagger, but to activate it, open the general preferences, hold down SHIFT+ALT+CTRL and click in the space under the option "Minimize the script after use". The options for auto-close will appear from then on.
In the release version I will make the function activated.
It will be interesting to find out why EF would like only one script running!

Thread: PBooost II SR1 released! Promises some useful new features:) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Well, I understand your potential confusion!
Now, with SR1, PBooost is thankfully becoming easier to explain!
It is now a full-featured Poser library browser with multi-runtime support. All poser library content can be loaded with a double-click from the interface, and, with the free My Folders plugin installed, PBooost II becomes the ultimate scene and image browser, too!
The original PBooost Bank funtionallty is now just a plus, if you choose to use it... but it will remain to be at the heart of PBooost ...
The PBooost banks , if you choose to utilise them, are really simple... Each library category (pose, figure, camera etc.) in each runtime can be split into a number of "PBooost Banks", each with their own content. This means that you can separate the content in each library category into several chunks, and only content within the selected one is visible in the Poser Library at ane one time.
Although the bank system is a useful feature of PBooost, it is not the be-all-and-end-all. It's general use as a library and scene browser now transcends all!

That's my CRPro II you're talking 'bout... :)) It fixes the references to point to the actual files positions so you can re-organise your textures and geometries folder structures in addition to it fixing all the silly references found in content. But, yes it's PC only at the moment. Actually, I didn't think the MAC versions of Poser had problems with un-resolveable reference files! It may be worth trying this program through wine on the MAC... or another PC emulator. A friend of mine now has a lovely G5 laptop... I'll ask him nicely:) Of course... the upcoming generation of MAC boxes (with intel chipsets) will run windows programs without a hitch... but it'll take a while for folks to upgrade:) H:))
