I notice that the Poser people didn't come over just the Daz stuff I bought over the year when I added the runtime librarys from Poser 5 and 6. Daz Sudio will go out and grab all the Poser content. Is it nessesary to bring them over one by one?

Never mind. My bad. I clicked 'Add Folder' not 'Add Runtime'. So I did it correctly and I'll live happily every after or 'till the next problem...what ever comes first.

It's still not happening for me. I opened the Add Folder and put a runtime library into the Content Library. I don't see any images of the goodies but I do see all the names. And I not able to access them.

I have a request when it comes to video tutorials. Remember the "Painting with Alexander" shows and painting with the "mighty brush?" He would take a half hour and paint one scene and all the issues that went along with the painting. I'd like like to see that done with Carrara. Take something like a landscape, portrait, still life and work with all the issues that went with that project. That way one could learn more about advanced techniques and work flow.

Well great news. After a phone call to Daz I was able to download my C6 pro. The bad new is they ran out of serial numbers and I have to wait until they make up some more.

I find it to be much more friendly then Poser 6 or Vue. Don't know about the other programs.

It was rendered using C5 on a 1.7 ghz Mobile Centrino labtop with 512 mb of memory hooked up to a .060 khz USB Aurora Paper Shredder.
I checked the Full raytracing and Light through Trans. Without those on it did the job in 55 minute and 30 seconds.
I'll do this again when my big giant adult computer comes back from the hospital.

I still have a bit of patience left. My main computer is in thehospital getting a new larger hard drive and the memory bumped up so I can get the most out of C6. I'll keep studying C5 until.

Did ya do the deal fo getting C5 and then moving on up to C^ for free deal? Did you get a SPECIAL email? I got the anouncement that it was here but nothing showed up in my 'available downloads' area at DAZ..
