I was about to join Prime when my DAZ+ expired, as that membership has been losing value. Then I came to sign up here plus a discount was advertised and found the $55 fee. As much as it hurt my soul, as DAZ pricing and value of DAZ+ has deteriorated to the point of my wanting to leave, I found the same here. I rejoined DAZ+ when they had 50% off membership.  Not sure who still knows me here or not, but I have been here since the year 2000 or so, before Renderosity was even Renderosity.

missed the sale ..well, I tried a couple of days but it was always 54.95. I'll pass at the price, in fact even at the discounted price. I'm getting priced out of buying daz or poser stuff.Â

i noticed today all the deals/discounts are at 40% other than the one for prime memebers. Is this going to be the new discount level? 50% with a few at 60 and even 70 have been the norm. Hopefully this isnt where Rendo is headed. As stated , DAZ has gotten expensive. Rendo has been very competitive with its pricing, but I know I'm capped financially and cannot afford less than 50% discount on the norm/Â

Thread: Poser 13 Release | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was hoping for a Poser 11 upgrade path as well. Nothing. Its still cheaper to buy upgrade to 12, then 13, but that just sounds like crazy way to do it. I can understand they might feel money lost by allowing upgrade path for older versions, but it will be more money lost. E=on did the same with Vue, and I left. Yeah , 1 guy, but how many more? At least Poser isn't subscription.Â
Was seriously hoping to bail out of the DS trap and get back to my roots, Poser, but I'm not seeing that happen. To much invested in DS and what appears to not be much of a stretch in achievement to Poser 13. Â
Is there a content list someplace? Â
It would surely be cool for some new content too, but from what I've read this is an early release and there are still pieces that are not complete.Â

Thread: Feedback on the new Marketplace format | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
today was the first day I really looked at a product since update. The 1st thing I noticed was the inability to just click a right or left arrow to see the next image in the promo images. That is particularly annoying and caused me to just quit looking at a couple of products. That needs to be fixed asap.
This sort of thing I've noticed a lot when a site "improves" its store or pages. Its not unusual to actually reduce the enjoyment than improving a site. I often wonder if its done just to keep someone working. Why improve something that already works fine, and then break it.Â

true that.ÂWell, to be perfectly honest, the correct answer is 'we don't know until the official announcement and pricing comes out'.
That's how it always been. Unless a Renderosity employee answers you here, we are jus' speculatin'. :)

too bad. I'm not very inclined to up to P12 when 13 is soon. It will still be double anyway.Â

Must of the people complaining were the same people who always seem to have problems.
i must be one of them then, as it totally destroyed my custom installation. It took me quite a long time getting everything back in order after I UNINSTALLED that poorly designed product. I'm sure it works maybe fine foir those installing product to the default settings, as DAZ Central is made for new users.

Thread: Poser 11.2 - Upgrade or not? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Why would it try to connect to Smith Micro? I used the link in Yesterday's e-mail. But it's working now. That's what counts- in fact I've already downloaded everything and plan to spend Saturday installing it.
wonder why I am not getting emails from Rendo ... I get wishlist stuff but have not gotten any of the recent emails on this upgrade stuff. |
BTW .. I did finally get into the site and downloaded the 11.2 and all content. Installed 11.2 and it stated trial good for 21 days. I then put in my serial number and nothing was said about it being 21 days or forever ....
