Ernyoka1, if I morph a Curious Labs primitive in whatever way, even until it's almost unrecognizable anymore, then it's still considered a CL primitive, right?...wrong?(reading the second part of your story) Thanx guys for the answers so far anyway! benny

OK. Now suppose I make a model with a modeller, import it into Poser, work on it and export it, without using any object allready made by Curious Labs itself (i.e. from their CD or site)? Is that allowed then? And how about those people selling stuff from their gallery, including complete human models? BTW thanx for the response TrekkieGrrrl !! benny

Hi, For those working with Rhino, Poser and other modeling/animating programs, check out this site: www.3dcafe.com. Looks professional to me and has thousands of free interesting stuf, but also cd-roms (like that from TheForge), tutorials etc. Benny

So you can do NURBS and then convert to mesh. OK. But the price $795 :-( makes me think of Raydream 3D instead and is only $129,- or so. I just want to use it mainly for humanoide modeling. Benny

Oh well, I just downloaded the trail version. It says that it is specialized in NURBS curves ,but has limited support for polygon meshes. Didn't the manual of Poser states that it can only import polygon meshes and not curves/splines etc? Or do have I interpreted things wrongly? Thanx in advance, Benny
