An FYI
My resources were not appearing in Poser Pro 2012 -- all of a sudden. It said to dowload the latest version with a link that didn't work very well.. on the troubles went.
If anybody is having trouble updating Flash player there are some real problems updating in both IE and Firebox. I searched and searched, Googling and Bing'ing...
This install worked FINALLY, after all kind of "time out" failures.
This install does not depend on Active X.

A new grandson, the first ever, and he's already making web sites.
2 months old, as you see.

It was good to hear "Elfenone" again. Your magic is still with you and always will be. Be strong and you -- better than anyone I know, knows how to be strong.

My very dear friend Robin -- my heart is praying for peace for you. You are such a brave soul and spirit, probably the bravest I've known. You are going to be surrounded with love. Please get strength from that. I know that Bill was such a generous and kind person. We'll be thinking of you.
Hugs

Ahah. This is a worthy challenge perhaps triggered by my recent post..? Oh no.. not that.
Thread: Stretch effect | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"It sounds like you are using a front type map which stretches around the sides of cylindrical objects. You may need to experiment with cylindrical projections." Have been using planar on the Z axis. So, what you are saying makes sense. Thanks all. This is helpful, really helpful. "then the textures look stretched when rendered because a small part of the texture map is being stretched to fit the stretched faces of the mesh." Perfect sense. Thanks. I'll post a picture if this doesn't correct the problem. Tom

Well it looks like we have concensus.... that there isn't any concensus. Except one thing.... I need a new computer. Thanks.

Wow. That's interesting about ProPak. I'll try that next time. It was looooong in P5. I took a shower while just the head morphs loaded and then I needed the dial cleaner majorly. Apparently it's not an issue of processor speed because I only have a 1 gig device.
Thread: V3.. Anybody having trouble? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
At first my P5 froze too. I had to ctrl/alt/del twice before I got the process to -- load dials -- to even grunt ahead. Thanks for the tip on the dial cleaner. I wonder if that's analogous to cleaning my clock?

As a final note.. I got the morph dials to load and then I saved my model. I went back and loaded my model and many of the dials are there but blanks... no definitions. I haven't taken the time to count them to see if they are in fact missing morphs or just ghosts. I'll try the nose dials in the morning to see if they work. Thanks very much!

Finally got them to load.. I gig processor with 1 gig memory, XP Pro here. Was just s-l-l-l-ow to load.. real slow.... nose included.

Thanks. I will. I've been trying by clicking the droplist repeatedly and once in a while they will load some dials. It's like pulling teeth.
