I don't think you understand the nature of authority. It consists of a leader and followers. The followers of the Pope are not being forced, you don't get fined everytime you sin. Do you always agree with secular laws? No but you have to follow them nonetheless. The difference is that nobody's forcing you to be a Catholic or to follow the Pope. If you don't agree, stay out of the group. It's that simple. My question to you is when has this Pope ever force you to do anything?

Drac, you got some top renders I can only dream of making. Why risk it? Secondly, didn't we want people to stop leaving Renderosity? I don't think there's anything wrong for a particular group, in this case a church, to make their rules. I personally think that making women wear veils is absurd but I don't go around telling that to my muslim neighbors, I dare not. I'm not religous, but frankly I think you should take your nose outta that subject. As far as the response. If I told someone "Your momma's a B**ch", how would that person respond? How about if I say Bryce sucks and you should "upgrade" to Vue? How bout that "Bryce, eat your heart out?" I think you'd get a similar response.

I'm new here so I think my viewpoint is fairly neutral. I think the Dragons look quite funny and interesting, the guy's gallery is full of funny ideas, and less of that technicality mumbo jumbo. Ornlu's gallery is full of nice realism images too. Please don't turn this into a Poser vs Bryce thing because it isn't. I think people just relate to Poser more because it has characters in it, therefore relating to the audience more directly. That's exactly why we use webcams instead of just voice chat, why we have smiley faces in our instant messager, and why most employers have person to person interviews than phone interviews. I think it IS possible to impress them enough to put you in the cover, it just takes a lot more effort than just using poser. SO if you want Brycean scenes, why not use poser characters in Bryce? After all the audience really don't care what software we use, but how it impacts them.
