DPI is a printer characteristic. A given printer will use a grid of dots to interpret a single pixel. I use an Epson SureColor P800, which does 2880x1440 dpi. The optimum ppi is 360.

I could be wrong, but this is probably related to what is apparently a bug in the latest version of 3dExchange. I recently bought the Reallusion Pipeline and I was probably the person who discovered the bug that was not converting the eyeball rotations. I noticed that the jaw side-to-side motion did not work, either. A user in the Reallusion forum showed me how to assign the motions manually. I will try the jaw next time I work with it.

When rendering with a nvidia card you must make sure your scene does not exceed the RAM on the card. You can see the ram usage in the little window that p[ops up behind the render screen once the render has begun. The real ram-hog is the textures, I have a gtx-1080 with 8gb and it is not too difficult to exceed it. If the ram is exceeded, the render will transfer to CPU. There are several free and commercial scripts for making quick texture-map reductions.

I struggled for a long time with this. After using Poser since 1999 it was a shock to install with Studio. It's actually too easy, to the point of being difficult.
I have found that making a different directory for non-DAZ products and freebies is important. It is not good to manually install into DIM-based directories.
Glad to see you have benefited from some great help and can start using Studio!

Rendering the object which is moving over transparent background is fairly easy. Use layers in the paint program, make a few copies of the transparent layer, then apply a Motion Blur effect which allows the angle and intensity of the blur to be adjusted. Sometimes I layer several separate blur layers with different settings. Keep an un-blurred layer version on the top of the stack in case you need to clarify the original object. Working in multiple layers allows you to adjust the opacity and get the motion blur to look exactly how you desire.

Thanks, it is nice to have something to experiment with. I need to follow you into reading the manual!

It only works with the IE and, only open the html file
I located the html file, tried opening with IE 11, but it does not open. I guess I shall merely experiment with Poser11 and wait to do serious work when SM gets around to making a service release.

Open IE and open the file : Your parth/Poser 2011/Runtime/ui/Flex/LSMGUI/bin-release/LSMGUI.html and the library shows up.
Ulli
I tried this, but it opens a Fault detected window. Chrome will not open it either.
Thread: Anyone know how to fade an object or figure in poser over time? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You could make 2 renders of each frame, one with the object/figure, and one without it. Then composite the 2 parallel sequences in increments - an old-fashioned A/B roll. This could work for more than 1 figure.

How do you open P11 Library from the browser? Since I am getting this same problem, I would like to try running Library externally. I always used that option in the last few versions. It worked, and it was out of the way.

The Library malfunctioned after a while. None of the sub-folders would open. The materials display (in Mat room) became all stretched and distorted, totally illegible. I shall set this unusable version aside and go back to PP2014 until SR1 is released. It's sad because it seemed to work fine for a couple of hours.

Maybe you are trying to turn off the Headlamp? It is a light which is parented to the cameras. Click the list tab located on the right side of the Viewport and you will find it in the list. I also am a long-time Poser user deciding to also use Studio. I was happy to learn that Headlamp existed, and that it can be turned off.
Thread: Why does the morph brush sometimes not do anything? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
bevans84 posted at 5:12PM Tue, 08 September 2015 - #4227177
Sometimes the morph level sets itself to 0 for no apparent reason. If you dial it back to 1 it comes back, and usually you have to use the restore brush or delete the morph you were working on when it wasn't responding because it's overmorphed. :-)
This happens to me quite a bit. I try to make a habit of checking the setting.
