I haven't heard of any that exactly fit the WOW style of tauren models. But if you do a search for minotaur at some of the Poser various marketplaces, you may find something to use as a base to work from. Good luck.

The font for the Indiana Jones movies from Famous Fonts really works nicely for pulpy, over the top images (that are not for commercial purposes). It seemed to fit the bill for a silly poster I made. I second or third the black frame around the letters. Would love to see your final image!Thread: Commission of cartoon monkey | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Have you looked at LittleFox's "Cheeky" Monkey at RuntimeDNA? However the fingers aren't as detailed as you are looking for. Hope you find your ideal monkey.

You have found an interesting way to showcase different works you have made, but on the downside they make the front page very busy. 3 animated gifs on one page is just too much. Out of curiosity, how would the gallery and portfolio be different, unless the the gallery is a public one? Or just a group of sample buttons?
I really prefer your current webpage.

Good points. I had skimmed some of the other threads previously, got the impression he was not a native English speaker, so was willing to cut him some slack about posting the same question more than once. However, you are right; who knows what is going on behind the scenes?

I didn't interpret the thread as saying that they pulled it because there was a possible error with the blank canvas. Especially when StaceyG said " You didn't have an image. You had a blank white thumbnail and a blank white image. That isn't an "image"". The museum in my hometown, has a very nicely framed piece of blank canvas sitting on the wall, next to the Grant Wood and Marvin Cone paintings, that somehow argues with that point of view.
To me, it sounded as though now if our pieces somehow don't fit the artistic view desired, they get pulled with no reason. I've been around Renderosity for awhile now, and I guess I just don't see the way things have been going for awhile as a positive direction when it comes to the galleries.
I heartily agree that DDevant could have a much better way of expressing himself, but once in awhile a valid point can be made even if I disagree with the messenger and his style of presenting that message.

Granted, I know DDevant was just trying to cause trouble, but the response in a now locked thread seemed a little overboard. I mean, come on, it's a white panel. Is it going to be that much of a disruption to the very fabric and being of Renderosity? If suddenly the mods or admins decide they don't like modern art, does that mean they can pull those too?
I know, I know, this is their sandbox, if I don't like it I can go play in my own. Still, pulling the "image' was abit harsh.
edited for typos

agrees 100% with Tilandra's post. I even thought about doing a step by step tutorial showing how they did it, but what is the point. I'm rather dubious the wow!ers and kiss kiss!ers would add 2 and 2.

About the fast skin shader...I have no clue. I am primarily a Photoshop person, but asking in one of the other forums here might get you some better advice. :)
On the one tutorial link, I didn't like what they did with her head either, giving her a strange bald spot basically. I would have made a selection from maybe her forehead, and used the Patch and Clone tools to build up the skin on her scalp.
There are some free human textures out there, but usually just samples of arm skin or something like that. http://www.3d.sk/?id=15 has a small free section that you can test out. If you find something else, I'ld love to hear about it. :)
As for adjusting the skin tone to the rest of the body, you could use Hue and Saturation adjustment layer like you found out. Or test out the Variations option if you need more subtle change. You could also pick out a color from the body that you think is representative of the whole and flood fill over the face on a new layer, and choose a Layer option, like Hue and adjust the opacity to see if it matches. Anyway I hope this gives you at least a good starting place.

And here is just a quick and dirty example that I cobbled together from photos of family. Not too noticeable, but it did make the model have more texture. I've been looking for more tutorials that could help and I'll post them if I find any.

Thread: ARGH!!! Can hair be done without a Waicom???? | Forum: Photoshop
It can be done, but like everybody says, much easier with the tablet. Could you use some hair brushes instead? Some people on deviant art have created whole free sets of brushes of curly hair, etc. I know the marketplace here sells some too. But just an idea til you can save up for that tablet. :)
