For those interested just did a test render using my "bumps" prop...I'd be embarrassed to let anyone else see it, yes that baaaad. lol

Those are awesome Jonnybode. Can I please have it as a morph? lol The only change I would make is that on the chin it's seperated sort of like a beard coming down off the points of the chin. Insted of the central point/bump, just move the two next to it closer together and you'd have a picture perfect one. Identical to those in the game.

But that said what you have is awesome and I can make do with it if you'd be willing to share it with me.

I tried doing the .obj alteration and importing it as a morph but poser keeps telling me "error wrong vertice number" or some such nonesense. What I did was just extruded some bumps on the .obj gemoetry then tried to import it using the add morph button. 

So...since that wouldn't/didn't work.

I went back to the drawing board and made bumps as a seperate add on prop and now am trying to map them so I can texture them to match the rest of em. lol

That's not working out so well either, can't seem to do nothing in Poser anymore I swear...had better luck back in the day on my old gateway than I do nowadays on this new fangled "faster, bigger, better" machine. lol

Your morph there would work great though, far better than what I"ve come up with in trying to make this Tiefling lol.

What you did above got me thinking, I could import the M4 geom .obj into wings and modify the head, but for the life of me can't remember how to do that and then use the modified .obj as a morph. Like I once did to make a gem hadar pic way back with poser four. 

But I also don't know doing that with the .obj is even allowed nowadays either, I quit making morphs that way long ago (hence why I forget how to do it now) because I'd heard it's not allowed/legal to do so, so I don't better safe than sorry.

That's all I am saying, can't please everyone. I mean seriously I want my cut and paste feature fixed for Chrome users. But that's a minor issue. I do not expect the proggies to just drop what they're doing to fix me. ;)

The PTB here have zero obligation to anyone here. The PTB here are not obligated to let you me or anyone else, or any other vendor, sell a damn thing on their site if they don't wish too.

Even having a membership here, let alone selling products here, is a priveledge, not a right.

IF their actions are affecting your "livelihood" waaah tough.

That's when you as a vendor go someplace else. Or you sit and suffer through the bad decisions you think they've made. IF Renderosity were to close up tomorrow the site would simply be gone, and yes, the vendors would have to go elsewhere to push their wares. Seriously do you think if Renderosity closed up shop, anyone of these vendors would be getting a cut of the proceeds?

I was not sure this is the right place to post this. But I hope this is the right place for this, if not please move this post to the right place for it.

I'm a chrome user. We chrome users cannot simply cut and then paste something into say the reply box, where I am typing.

If we try to do so using our mouse we are given a pop up message stating the following:

Currently not supported by your browser use keyboard shortcuts instead.

Can that please be fixed in chrome? I know it's a minor, minor, minor issue. But one I thought I'd point out in the hopes it will or can be fixed nonetheless.

Look folks it's their site to do with as they wish, if the ptb want to make it a success finne, if the ptb want to drive it into the ground, fine they can.

Gendragon nope not directing my prior comments, at those seeking honest critique. I used to mod the critique forum here so I have absolutely no problem with that. And that is in part why there is a comment ability.

Seeking honest feedback is not what we are talking about though.

What we are talking about are those who feel compelled for some reason to demand, that they be thanked or some how otherwise compensated for uploading freestuff.

I've been around Rendo for a long, long, long time, and I have on occasion uploaded my own things, and in turn taken my own things down/requested they be taken down.

And to be honestly blunt, I've never, never, never, seen the likes of such arrogance as now suddenly some are doing, seen anyone ever demand that everyone who downloads someone's freestuff, also be thanked by those who downloaded it, and or that they be told how it was used in a render. IF ever used in a render.

Yes over the years I've seen folks say "if you use it I'd like to see how you used it so please send me a link etc..." in a readme, but never seen someone say, YOU MUST thank me, and YOU MUST show me how you use it.

If you want compensation fine, sell it.

That's what the marketplace is for.

But freestuff should always be freestuff.

One should as I personally have always done, offer it freely and appreciate it all the more when someone does say thank you.

Demanding that those who download your stuff also thank you however, is to me tantamount too demanding a form of compensation.

And when you are being compesated for doing something, thats not free, that's paid for. It should be absolutely up to the members if they want to offer feedback or thanks, never demanded.

Well O K...it is free and works on a free app so I guess this is all valid but the veg sure doesn't come up to the standard I'm used to with XFROG stuff, a bunch of which was made available to Terragen2 users in the native .tgo format. Thanks for posting Bob.

English please English! Yes Rendo is on the world wide web but most users are in fact English! Tends to happen when a company is based in the United States where contrary to popular opinion most still speak English. I mean Christ is it ok if we  hable espanol comprende?

Get a friggin life if  you post it here in the freestuff you put it up for free, free means free, it's not free if you attach strings to obtaining the item.

If  you want praise and someone to pat you on the hiney and bow down and kiss your backside because you put some junk up in the freestuff, go some place else not happening here sister.

Fwiw the email I recieved was not just sent out en mass I only got it because I had made a specific inquiry. 

There are two things that turns me off about this deal.

Number one, the cavalier attitude I was given (you'd understand if I posted the email here which I won't do) 

And then there's this. Way way way back when the place first started, we were all supposed to share in revenues generated by ads there. I like many others never saw one red dime of the money we'd earned under that "concept" or system if you will.

This latest as far as I see it, is just adding another further insult to what remained as some bad feelings of being "used" so to speak from that original deal.

And again I'm sorry but it's crazy to ask me to pay person A, so I can then give away my intellectual property to person B for free.

That is not usually how anyone of these brokerages work ya know lol.

So I'll just see if I can't get us all an alternative together somehow someplace.

Wish me luck. As over the next few days I look at what I have been suggested and what I can find.

Oh and um mods/admins I'm not sure if this OT subject is alright to discuss. IF I am breaking the tos by asking for the assistance I asked for, to start up a new freebie place. Please remove these posts immediately and let me know so I won't do it again in the future.

Miss N I caught wind of this over at FB. So I sent ShareCG a mail asking them if they were or if it was just a rumor using their "contact us" system. 

I got a reply back from someone named David over there, who said yes they are going to start charging around .80 cents USD per day. Or roughtly ten dollars for a year of ad free membership there.

Now I"m with Lesbently on that one. It's just too crazy to ask me to pay, for the honor of giving away my work for free. 

So that said, I was going to set something up to replace what we will be losing at sharecg, if someone is interested in partnering with me too set something up. 

By partnering I mean I need someone with the tech know how to help me in putting up and then admin a site, I'll foot all the costs of a domain name etc....I just need some help with the tech know how, since the last time I had my own website geocities was still around and it was built using geocities in fact. ;)
