Thread: Lighting problem | Forum: Carrara
You can have the light project the clip by putting the .avi or .mov or whatever as a gel for the spot light. And you mean the light cone keeps going through the screen? If this is the case, enable 3D Shadows in the light cone properties and the light cone will stop when it hits objects.
Thread: Modeling Question.. | Forum: Carrara
Well you can 'select all' in one of the meshes and copy and paste it into the other vertex object modeling room. There may be a better way to do it but I think that should work.

Thanks for all the help! Moving the keyframes back all the way and nudging them left did the trick.

I agree with Kaom.. I love the software but have never been a fan of the 'cutesy' GUI. Functionality is waaaay more important than form when it comes to the interface.

Thread: Question about file compression in Raydream | Forum: Carrara
I would suggest that you go to www.divx.com and download one of their codecs. When you install it, it should show up in the compression settings in RDS. I'm not sure if this will help the frame rate, but you'll get a lot smaller file that 388 meg. Hope this helps.
Thread: Rendering for video | Forum: Carrara
I'm not sure if I can help because I've only done this sort of thing on my PC. Using C2.1, I render a 648x480 30fps uncompressed .avi and it imports into Adobe Premiere fine. From there I can export it to my camera or whatever, just like a regular video.
