Thread: Exporter Question | Forum: Vue
Thanks for the info and suggestions. Looks like I know where my discretionary funds will go next paycheck. :)
Thread: Exporter Question | Forum: Vue
That's what I want to do, but I need to get a foreground (hero) tree into poser so that it is easier to pose the figures in/around the tree.
Then I'll import the scene into vue and add more plants that the characters aren't directly interacting with.
So my question still stands, can you export any plant or do they have to be "unlocked"?Â

My suggestion is to create a new runtime folder, I created a sperate runtime for Gensis for example.
Â
The use the DAZ downloader/installer to install genesis and what ever other items you want to the new runtime. The DIM will handle getting everything installed where it needs to go.
Note that you can specifiy where the DIM installs things. Don't automatically install files then after they are downloaded got to the intalls tab and select "details" at the bottom. From there you can choose where to install to. Further note, you have to add the runtime you want to install to using DIM's preferences.
Once the files are installed go into Poser and add the new runtime.
As long as the items have "poser companion files" they will show up as normal in the library.

Quote - I never knew batman carried a gun???
Â
Back in the early days of the character (the first few issues) Batman did in fact use a gun. They got rid of it pretty quickly though.

Not really sure why, but it probably has to do with missing "real" body parts and a similar limitation as not being able to make a bodypart invisible via the parameter window
Â
You can make body parts invisible if you turn of the sub-division.
Thread: tattoos across seams? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Although if all you want to do is put Tattoos on figures then Decal master is probably your best option for the price.

3D-Coat is another good option. It's pricey but not as much as body paint or z-brush.
If you don't intend to use it for commercial purposes you can get it for $99.

Thread: P9/PP2012 Genesis compatability | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - DAZ has stated repeatedly in their forums and on the DS4 FAQ that the most they are doing is **releasing a generic Cr2 exporter that may deliver a genesis to poser  **that is "posable " but frozen in whatever morphed state from with he was exported.
This actually appeals to me. I've gotten tired of resource gobling figures trying to be everything to everyone.

Here is one woman's definition of porn...

The page that the link goes to doesn't have any nudity, but some of the other pages have some very mild nudity. (It's a webcomic)
Thread: Odd question/thoughts ab't "Little One" freebies | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Probably for the "Little One" figure recently released over at DAZ. A slightly stylized/ toonish female who loads at about half the height of V4. Presumably a halfling or gnome type character.
Thread: Poser Shaders in Vue 8 | Forum: Vue
Well, I did some budgeting and decided to take the leap!
So far the Poser shaders look great, and I love eco-systems! Now I'll have to save my pennies for eco-painter.
