What if you don't  you do not know how the end user is going to use the model? Is there a good setting that keeps the quality up and file size low at both distance and up close?

A while ago I saw this picture the hubble took. first glance it looked like a star studded sky then I noticed the different colors further examination each dot had a different shape. That whenI realized and was confirmed by the text that what I was looking at were hundreds of thousands of galaxies. I felt very small at that moment. Then the self preserving Id took over and said you can comprehend the cosmo. Can it do the same of you? Each galaxy was a mini fractal in the picture. A solar flare off the surface of the sun looks like flame fractal.

I can see the head lines Renderosity Fractures under protest.

Interesting The definition of Fractal isn't even given on the On-Line Graphics Dictionary page. I think our moderator should be made aware of this.

Point taken and to an extent correct but I for one will try to refrain from telling anyone not to create or attempt to create. I often remind myself that my favorite artist Dali studied the works of my least favorite Picasso A wise man can learn form a fool. Its interesting that you see religious contexts in the picture. I don't see it the picture. But i have the bias of spending 8 years in the care of baptist preacher. I view the picture as a breakup piece the figure in the lower left corner possibly an x boyfriend or husband who left her over issues dealing with sexuality and possibly weight. These two thing she considers thorns.
