Thanks! It worked great, all I had to do was regress a few frames, and I had exactly the output I wanted!

Ok I figured it out, for future referance if anyone else ever has this problem: The reason I couldnt grow guide hairs is because I switched away from the grouping before growing my hairs. If the hairs are grown before switching, it works.

Oj I just noticed the names for the hair props are getting cut off. Is there maybe a character limit to the names that would cause this?

Theres a way to "pin" the top to her to prevent this, but I am a newb without a clue how to do it. I remember it was mentioned in this tutorial by PhilC: http://www.philc.net/tutorial6.htm (BTW PhilC is a really helpful guy, hes helped me out on a few occaisions now)

Well I am a newb, but I am now using V3 with a ton of stuff I bought and downloaded without problems.

Ahhh....Ok. That makes sense for the purpose of the visibillity, but limiting us to using one side of the cloth kind if sucks. I had some neat ideas involving a wort of sari like wrap that I could trick the engine into doing via constrained groups. Ill live though! This software is actually entertaining to learn, and Im pretty sure If I keep up with it I'll be able to post somthing worthy of the gallery.

If you know where to get it there is thin plastic sheeting that will actually hold a crease pretty well, that would be perfect for this.

Ok Im starting to see how this works... Im going to read a few tutorials while Im at work today (Yeah, Its a great job) on creating clothing. On the recommendation of several users here I downloaded Wings 3D, though I honestly havent had a chance to play with it much yet. Its a damn shame Maya PLE cant do .obj exports, I was just starting to get good with it! Finally, should I keep using the basic models for learning, then pick up Vic3 & Mike3 when I have a better grasp on the software, or should I pick them up now and begin familurization with them?

Ahhh... Ok please excuse my ignorance here, but what is the differance between a prop and a smart prop?

I see, so the belt would have the same spandex-esque properties as the conforming clothing, while the holster proper would be more like an attached prop. I think this is how alot of the armor plates Ive seen in some of the fantasy compostions work. Anyone know for sure?
