Thanks to both of you for the info. I've found so far that exporting to PSD and converting it to PNG or whatever from there works pretty well. I'm reading the FM now, but it's slow going and it's sometimes difficult to locate the "little trivia" that you can find online. :)

Awesome! Thanks for the help about the FOC, I thought that it was the camera but wasn't sure. As for the render, the thumbnail seems to be longer in width but shorter in height, which makes the final document seem taller, and things near the edges get cut off. Are certain resolutions "safer", (less of a disparity between the thumbnail and the actual render), than others to use?

The background eraser technique works great, I'll try the .GIF one as well. Thanks again.

Actually, I'm using a background image for the web page. The background image is substantially larger (800x600) than the 300x300 Poser model that I want to use on the web page. Thank you for the suggestions though!

Thank you both for the replies. And for anyone tuning in, I've found http://www.awakemm.com/poserarcana/ to be a wonderful resource in general, not just for file type information.

Macromedia Freehand might be what you're looking for, but I'm not sure if it uses PhotoShop plugins.

No kidding! 3Dplants.com looks great, I may just buy the CD with the trees on it to use until I can get the time to learn more about drawing these on my own. I'm still trying to pick up the basics of Flash ActionScript and cartooning, so that takes up most of my time at the moment. Thanks again to will3ivxdude for the tip. I use a PC, but pressing control while moving the objects seems to work well when trying to keep spheres and cubes in perspective. I had been creating seperate renders, then making new spheres in the middle of the world and cutting/pasting them in PhotoDraw... not a whole lot of fun if you can avoid it. :)
