Hi gebe, Thanks a lot for the LW files. However, seems like several of the included bmp files are blank and/or just messed up. For the same reason my first render is not really worth showing... Enjoy Sunshine in Life Ole

Hi, Here is anyway the preliminary purcahse schedule for myself...depending on when I finally decide to buy... September: AMD 1,4 + 768MP-1 GB of fast DDR SDRAM, Geforce 3 October: AMD MP 1.53 + Geforce 3 Ultra...(Heard rumours that the MPs will be released first week of october, and that the Ultra will be released around 17/9). December/January: The new generation of P4 (Northwood)...with DDR support I hope. Today I have only a Geforce 2 MX and have no problem with the drivers. Anyway Nvidia is releasing a new 20.x driver within weeks that is said to boost the performance a lot on the whole geforce platform. Enjoy Your Day Ole

Hi Tradivoro, ...It is like asking "Who is Elvis?" :)... Go directly and buy that CD (and maybe even better the one called "The Wall")...they are kind of the best records ever made... Enjoy Sunshine in Life Ole
Thread: A Question To e-onsoftware and Vue Forum On A Tree/Plant addition. | Forum: Vue
Jas, I totally agree! Either E-On should release a big amount of new Solid Growth trees (cold climate stuff) or implement a "Solid Growth-tree Lab" so that the community can make trees on their own. I am just also considering the Onyx Tree Pro or Xfrog. Worldbuilder is of course also an option...probably even better value for the money considering all the lovely things you can do with it besides making trees! Jas: what have you found out about the difference between Onyx and Xfrog? Any recommendations? Varian: If I understand you correctly you do not want E-On to spend time on doing trees rather than implement new features in Vue? Well, if they implement a new tree-lab then I guess everyone will be happy! Enjoy Sunshine in Life / Ole

MikeJ...just wondered if you have allready claimed a good Latin name for your new creation? Am not trying to be a smartass, (it just comes natural to me), but what about "Botanica Polyrectum"? Enjoy the Day / Ole

Thread: How to change default directories? | Forum: Vue
Oboy, We have a genius in here...thanks a lot Gilbertdid! Tradivoro: 1.) Open up the Scenes-library under Vue in the Windows explorer 2.) Right-click the mouse (in the right window) 3.) Pick "New" and then "shortcut" on the popup-window 4.) Browse to whatever folder you would like to save all your Vue-scenes, name the shortcut and click OK. 5.) Open up a new scene in Vue. Use the Save As command. Click on the shortcut that appears in the standard scenes folder - click on it - and whoops you are in the right place. Enjoy the Sunshine in Life / Ole

Hi Thanks for the replies. I just e-mailed the support at E-Onsoftware. Perhaps there is a setting I did not find, or maybe it is possible to enter a new key in the Windows Registry? As soon as I get a (positive) reply I will let you know. Enjoy the Sunshine in Life / Ole

Thread: Bryce 5...fact or fiction? | Forum: Bryce
I am not sure if it is a good idea or not, but one reason might be that they want to see the new Vue d'Esprit and Worldbuilder before making any announcement about Bryce5...That way they will have the option to improve things or even add extra features before announcing the new version... I guess this kind of politics is good for us users...but also very annoying... Enjoy Your Day / Ole
Thread: Upgrade Your Lazy Old PC To A "Cheap" Dell P4... | Forum: Vue
Hi, I am no expert but I heard rumours about P4 might eventually work with SDRAMS instead of those bastard RDRAMS that costs more than my old car. AMD is obviously also soon (this summer?)releasing a new AMD4 processor that looks very interesting...it was just released in a laptop version. But you are right Daffy34...one should be happy with whats available...that is usually more than enough...maybe not! Enjoy Sunshine in Life Ole
