I wouldn't give up G8x anytime soon either. It's an improved version of G3 (which remains my favorite). Also, the UVs are the same, and what goes to G8 goes to G3, skin included and vice versa.

For the moment G9 doesn't really attract me.

Evilinnocence is only for Poser, not for Daz according to the description.

"This utility allows you to extract the object from a Poser prop which has embedded geometry. Simply choose the original prop, and then choose the locations for the extracted object, and the new prop file without embedded geometry."

Geometry Stripper looks very good and is available on renderosity. But when I click on Download, I'm redirected to an external sales site, where the software doesn't exist!

Installing/uninstalling assets is very convenient with Daz Install Manager. But Renderosity does not support DIM format. I found, a long time ago, this little tool written in python. It will allow you to convert the Renderosity archive into a DIM archive that you can install/uninstall more easily ;) If the author recognizes himself, I hope he won't mind sharing this very useful tool. Run the program without parameters to know the syntax. Written in python, it can be used under Linux/Mac/Windows
