Thank you all very much for your encouraging words. I will sit down back at it again after a couple months off and see if it clicks. Maybe I need to take a closer look at some websites for some Poser Tutorials for Dummies, hehe. Thorrax

Thread: Poser 4 book used in Poser 5? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you Marque, Pictures in my head, hmm, I have so many pictures, just no way of creating them, Lol. In all seriousness, I have many ideas that I want to do, and that was one of the reasons I bought Poser. After viewing the gallery repeatedly on a daily bases, I see so much realism and originality from you all, that one cant help not want to get started in this fabulous world of Poser. The work that you all create is just breathtaking. I cant tell you how many times I see what you all do, sit down, open Poser and say, ok, now what do I do? I will work on finding the tutorials and try using them. I was just in search of something that would help me take a figure, pose it, add the clothes, hair, make-up, jewelery, and background. Thank you Thorrax

Hello, Thank you very much. I did grab one from the website to experiment with, but when I tried to open it in Poser, it asked to open to fit window, I said yes and then it was so big, I could not work with the character. Did I do something wrong? Or is there a way to resize it so it fits the current size of the document window as it is? Thank you all very much, and sorry for the questions. Still a newbie. Thorrax

Thank you. That is why I am glad this forum is here! But, in the book, it does say to hit the apply Library Preset instead of the Create New Figure button. So maybe thats why I made the mistake. But either way, thank you very much! Thorrax
Thread: What goes into a Poser image? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you very much! I will try and read as much as I can, then, do as best as I can to make a Poser out of myself. I just cant begin to express the the right words I have for all of you who have devoted lots of time to this craft. But I will say one thing, all your work shows what people can do with the right tools and imagination. Yes, it is endless! Thank you Thorrax

Thread: Best way to learn Bryce? | Forum: Bryce
I will say one thing, You people here are awesome. I never had such a vast amount of people try to help (newbies) before. I do like the idea posting projects here if I am allowed to for the viewing of experience people for feedback. I can't wait to get started creating something in Bryce just to say I did it! Thank you all so very much Thorrax
Thread: Are there items in Poser or do I have to find them? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello, Thank you very much. I have so much to learn I guess. I did review my manual and CD, but not really knowing that much about what I am getting or what to with it, I just thought I would ask. I think I will just wait until a find a book, study some of the examples in the manual and tutorials before I ask anymore questions. This way I can have a better understanding of the product and what it does do, and what it does not. Can someone maybe tell me what software people are using to design the close? This way I can at least get started looking for that and learning how to use it when I start working with Poser. Thank you all very much. This is an excellent forum that you don't have to wait days for an answer. Thorrax

Hello cshaftoe, OMG. Your chess set is incredible. And you did this all in Bryce and it was your first project? By chance would you have a tutorial on how you created this incredible piece of work that I might follow to get started using Bryce before I actually receive my book? This is going to be an amazing adventure for me. I know I can't wait to get started as the software is just sitting patiently on my computer awaiting me to take on the challenges that lye ahead. Thank you Thorrax
Thread: Looking for a good book to learn Poser 5.0 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hello Greybro, Thank you for your honesty on the subject. Not knowing this author, I guess if I buy this book, I will at least get something out of the first chapter then (Lol). My real main concern was the fact that since these books have a hefty price on them, I did not want to buy a book that took me to a place that had errors in it or incorrect information and I was now searching to find the solutions too. Would it be best (in your opinion) to purchase a Poser 4.0 book? Or is there to many changes in the 5.0 software? Thank you Thorrax
Thread: Looking for a good book to learn Poser 5.0 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you Kelderek for the quick reply. I will do that, I will first ask here if someone would by chance have a tutorial that they would recommend for the beginner and then take it from there. Tutorials are an excellent way to learn anything. My main concern was really learning the screens, the lighting, the toolbar etc. But I am sure that once I get started with a tutorial or 2, everything will fall in place as to the understanding of what each operation does. Thank you again! Thorrax
