How about turning on 'collisions', check Hair and Head as collision objects then click on 'Show Intersections'. Adjust or tweak the Hair until any red section goes off ?
Thread: looking for recommended books... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Secrets of Poser Experts / ISBN-10: 1-59863-263-9 & ISBN-13: 978-1-59863-263-7 by Daryl Wise and Jesse DeRooy Practical Poser ISBN-1-58450-478-1 by Denise Tyler.
We may be in different worlds but these two are my favourites.

Hi Earl, Something that bugs me when checking out a new downloaded figure is the Orange color of the skin, or some other unrealistic color. Several experts have said that you can ruin a new creation if you don't get the lighting right. I'd like to be first in the queue if you can create a good lighting setup that makes my figures look realistic. I won't even beginn to try and guess how many hours I have wasted, juggling with Nodes without getting the realism I'm looking for.

Thread: Help to blur image map | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Me not being very clever, I would locate my related image map in the Poser textures department , copy it into Photoshop, then set up a new layer and use the Blur brush. You can move the intensity of the blur layer from 100 per cent down to zero, or the amount of blur you are looking for, then give your new blurred imagemap a new name and copy it back into the texture department. It works. (One of my favourite activities is manipulating multiple layers in Photoshop.) I'm pretty sure that all other photo software has the above functions.

Boni, Sam Many thanks for the speedy answer. I'll give it a run this evening (the tv is crap anyway.)
Thread: V4 Morphs++ not working | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think Noah was looking at plans for an Ark when I got my V4 figure. Just kidding: The file date is 01.05.2007 Thanks for helping. BTW, my reinstall seems to have done the trick ! No more questions like 'Please find . . .' and there was a BAT file for V4. So a quiet yahoooo in case my compie is listening.
Thread: V4 Morphs++ not working | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a similar problem: Installed at around the same time and date M4, who has a bat file, and then V4 but no bat file. I see mentions of reinstalling here in this thread so, Can I really and safely reinstall without losing anything ? It's so nice to have so many experts available to help very old Noobies LOL
Thread: Anyone know of a set of lights for dark, or nighttime renders? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Didn't I read somewhere that Poser lights, when set at an intensity value below zero will produce Black light ?
Thread: Getting the best from Poser's Cloth Room. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been foolin with Poser since version 3 and have almost started feeling smug because most of my trips into the Cloth room produce satisfactory results. But this weekend my cloth item behaved itself but my figure's feet went through the carpet on the floor ! This is why I find this thread to be potentionally valuable. I reckon there will be a deluge of tips and hints, and you're never too old to learn something new. More strength to your elbow Mister Clark.
Thread: What Determines a Mirrors Reflective Sharpness? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Rendo Freebie from Richabri for Bunny Set. This terrific set contains a Mirror that in my humble opinion is the best reflector in the business. Hunt him down and check out the setting for the mirror. This is the ONLY reflector I use.
Thread: Question for Camera Experts | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
55mm is said to be the focal length of the Human Eye. So if you want things to remain 'natural' in appearance set your focus to 55mm. This is fairly important if you are also setting up V4 to fit the 'Eight Heads' natural natural body scale.
Thread: Are people still using V4? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nice to see you back. Only V4 or V4.2 for me, thank you. BTW I still have your Trash Street Corner with Grafffiti. Only the good stuff in my Content LOL
Thread: Does Anyone know how to make obj file into a figure or Cr2 file? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you're not excited about fiddling with polygons or are like me too lazy, why not fit the left sandall to the left foot, duplicate your sandalls and fit the new right sandall to the right foot. Then make the unused sandall on each side invisible up there in your sandall properties ? It worked for me just fine.
Thread: Uninstalling Windows 10 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
A wise decision to revert to Win 7, the most stable of all and, while you are in there doing this, go into Win 7 Update department and find number three - NEVER LOOK FOR UPDATES. Win 10 doesn't offer update department options. It is permanently locked on Automatic updates. I was amazed when I found the third option in my Win 7. Have fun !
