This is what I've tried when there's no way I can work around the muzzleflash... (ugh, I'm fearing the day I gotta figure that out) Here's a couple links I can lay on the table, http://www.matthawkins.co.uk/special_fx/sfx_muzzleflash.htm and http://www.hockeyhaircut.com/Tutorial/MuzzleFlash1.htm
I hope they help. Cylent

first off, I'd just like to thank you all for making me feel very welcome in the community... you all are cool. And yeah, I actually did notice that about milkshape... its very limited in what it can handle... but at the same time its conversion I find indespensible. Ugh... I just downloaded Blender... anyone been through this? I dont know what I'm doing. Hell, an I thought bryce was complicated. Well, I see I've had some kickass people helpin me out with my questions... but no ones willin to grade my work? I've tried showing the people I know... and they're just suprised I can do anything without bong resin around my mouth... I need someone who knows what they're doing to tell me if I'm just wasting my time or not. Oh... an I got YET another question... to put something in the freebie category, do I have to have a website that'll upload it, or just send it through the host site? Yes... I understand I should just hit submit... but its a hella lot easier for you all to help me. ;) Nah, but in all honesty, this means a lot to me. thanks.

Its just like the whole not stopping for directions thing... just the way some men are. Hell, even though its taken everyday since august working on poser, I take pride in knowing that I'm self taught... with the majority. That... and I never thought of looking through the forums until recently... but I do like the sense of community. Now, anyone want to give me some pointers on making realistic looking gunfights? ;)

Whenever I'm working on an animation, I'll go through and make a pose for each serious transition the figures gonna make, then when I finally decide to animate the thing, I toss em in every other keyframe. But I've got a question too... because a 45 second animation of mine is 90 mb... are they supposed to be that damn big?

I thought I had the record in my group, untli my friend reciently topped off at three weeks not being able to find the library tab on the right side of the screen. Now... are we just from the dumb part of town... or is this a common problem with newbees?
