Thanks for all the replies, I don't quite understand e-on releasing a new version on a yearly basis and a .5 version six months after that.

When a new version is released the previous one is left hanging with bugs.

 You can't upgrade the video card on a Macbook Pro. You could turn off some of the options to get the video card to run smoother.

I bought mine off eBay but what I understand is that it's not flashed.

Having the same Mac and Video card as you, there aren't many options available. Apple doesn't give us many options for an upgrade. PCI Express 2 will work in PCI Express 1 just not supported by Apple. I finally bit the bullet and bought a ATI Radeon HD 4890 pc card for my Mac. It works great and it supports Open GL 2.1 Shader 4. Vue is much more stable with the newer card. The whole pc card to Mac can seem complicated but it works and can be done. I can post more if your interested. 

 I noticed C3D really slowing down yesterday, a lot of the pages we're timing out.

 I get the same error, I also can't access e-on.

 Sigh.... another great looking program not available for Macintosh.

 It works for me running Vue 8 complete version 47967 on a Mac. Have you tried using a image supplied by e-on? Maybe the file or files you try are too large or corrupt.

 I had to trick  Vue into getting the items to show up in the visual browser. I had to remove the files, delete the original folder and created a new one with a different name. Then put the items back and it worked! It never did generate a new prv file. Still doesn't have one but the items are now being shown. The folder was named Brick/Stone it wouldn't show up, renamed Brick and Stone and it works.

 These are material files, all .mat. I can browse manually, choose a file and open it. I can also save it but they won't display, even the newly saved files won't display.

 I tried doing that Peggy but Vue won't generate a new prv file. I deleted the collection and added them back several times with no success. If I add the folder manually it won't display the contents in the visual browser but if I click the browse file button I can navigate and view them. Strange! I'm using Vue8 complete.

Did I miss something offensive? I'm sorry to everyone for the remarks whatever they were. Thanks for all the posts. I will continue saving for more $$$ so I can upgrade.
