Phil, That ship is freakin awesome! I remember I was wishing this morning how great it would be to see you do another ship, not that your other stuff isn't great, but your ships are always breathtaking! Your mastery of Wings3D continues to amaze me. Your work in doing these ships has inspired me to do more with Wings3D. Keep up the fantastic work. By the way, was the fighter ship modeled from one cube or multiple shapes.

Anybody know if Bryce 4 or Poser 4 will be offered for free anytime soon? Bryce 3D was offered when Bryce 4 first came out. You would think that with the impending release of Bryce 6 and Bryce 5 being out for a while now, Bryce 4 would be offered. Or is it because Bryce 3D and Poser 3 were old Metacreations products whereas Bryce 4 was Corel and Poser 4 was Curious Labs? Just curious.

What about for those of use who still use Bryce 3D?

I'm a Bryce 3Der and I think I might be able to answer that. From what I understand, if you have something made with Booleans, they can't be exported. Period. The only thing that can be exported are terrains. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. Gdavis3D

From what I have found out here and on the Bryce101 group on Yahoo! Groups, the version of Bryce3D given away by 3D World Magazine will NOT work. As for Bryce 4, as far as I know, they have only given away the demo not a full version. If they have, I doubly bummed (first for not being able to upgrade from 3D to 5 and then missing out on 4).

Just after I posted my request, I did a search on the net and found those. I download both Lawboy and Lawgirl plus the poses. Does anyone know of a texture I can apply to the Casual Male to simulate a polo shirt and jeans? Do you know anything else that might help me. Thanks for your reply EnglishBob. gdavis3d

Don't take them off! What's the URL for Poser 3 resources? As mentioned I got Poser 3 for free on the CD for 3D World Magazine. Plus, is it possible to convert P4 props and characters to Poser 3? Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone know of any good tutorials and galleries for Amapi? I have the 4.1 version that came free with 3D World Magazine and then updated to 4.15. I haven't seen enough examples to know whether it is good or not.

I mean if I was to buy a full retail version of Bryce 4 from CompUSA for the upgrade price of around $89 or so, would the CD recognize and acknowledge the Bryce 3D v3.1 (free from 3D World magazine) that is on my PC? Also does the upgrade policy from Corel cover the free giveaway? Does that make any clearer sense? -gdavis3d

Do any of the techniques she covers apply to Bryce 3D or is the book strictly for Bryce 4 only? I have found "The Bryce 3D Handbook" by Shammis Mortier (is that the right author?) not detailed enought for me. The book glosses over some key concepts and doesn't provide enough clarity IMO. I was just wondering if the concepts in her book could be applied to Bryce 3D. Or is 3D and ver 4 completely different animals?
