Thanks for the input fellas. It took me about 3.5 months to round up the project . The movie is approx. 21 minutes. Lightwave and XSI were used for animation and cel shading while a combination of Lightwave and Modo were used for modeling. About 30% of the walk cycles are modified mocap, the rest and everything else are keyframe.

I tried the light cone this time and it somehow gave me a little bit of what I am looking for,you can notice that the two spotlights did not originate from the headlamps. I placed them both on the head lamps and grouped them but they drift apart the moment I play the animation,apart from grouping how else do i keep the spotlights attached to the headlamps? Thanks,I guess i am asking too much but,hey,I think i got a bog bone stuck in my throat(Gotta tone down one of them headlights,looks like a wide laser beam)

speaking of the rendering room,my pc crashes each time I try to render. Thought it would stop but it didn't.Maybe I should turn to anothersoftware because it is of no use if I can't render my animations

Okay,I will have to admit,my jaw dropped when I saw the perforated pots and two table tops.So are they pics or what? Whew! I think I am sticking with carrara(though it crashes each time I try to render it could be fixed I guess)whew,i am going to get all the digital carvers plug in( I only wish they've got some hair stuff)

Okay,this is the body of my RAV 4. I think I did it the unconventional way,started with the spline,converted to vertex,enptied every polygon,deleted one half and used the polyline toll to draw the shapes and add thickness.Whew!It obviously needs a lot of work but I don't know if it is right to do it my own way,speaking of which,is it not possible to model a car from scratch in the vertex modeler?Thanks for your useful suggestions guys,but ummmm... you know..ummm...may be I could do with a couple of tips on how to put my work in a better shape.

Thanks guys for all your contributions. I am trying all I can to see what i can get but heck,how am I supposed to do this when my carrarra paralyses my system each time i try to render? I mean I set the render on the gourad or flat mode but it still crashes,a bug huh? Carrara is my first 3D software ever and look at where it has landed me(Lunatic assylum) I mean it drives me nuts to see my system crash each time I try to render. I read the help files and some tutorial thoroughly so I know what I am doing. Do I quit using Carrara or what?
