Realisticly speaking, that will turn into September. Software realesses never seem to go out on time. Even the big companies miss thier deadlines. But I can wait. I gave up on Carrara and jumped to Animation Master. Carrara will need to be at 2.0 before I start doing handsprings. But if they can pull it off I will be Happy.

Well, the ball is rolling but don't get to exicted. IT will take sometime before they can turn around and start offerning support, patchs, and upgrades. Now that it is rolling does any know how long it will be before we see anything. No doubt whoever bought Carrara will want to fix a few things before they start selling it. Or they might go on and jump to Carrara 2.0.

Thread: help with remodeling a poser char's face in A:M2000 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I had AM 2000 since April and it just kind of sat on the self. At first I thought that it was a confusing program to deal with. But now I am starting to get the hang of the spline modeling. It kicks anything that I ever played with out the door and onto the street. To model a face I would say use a rotoscope of the face of a real person's face. and buy those training vidio's they will cut weeks of the learing curve. You will be amazed with what you can do with the extrude command. LOki de monster

Luke...Luke feel the power of the textures. But beware the power of the dark texture. Once you go over to the textures you can never go back.
Thread: help, which do you think is better 3d studio max or lightwave | Forum: Animation
Thanks, brainmuffin, That's what i was hoping to hear. I want to break into the world of commercial animation and lightwave was looking pretty dran good. I have worked as a drafter for the past five years and by now I have gotten pretty tired of drawing houses for a living. It's time that I started something a little more artistic. So, is learning commercial animation something that I can do on my own. or shoould I be looking to go back to school?

Hay! Show me the bones baby. I want to see those bones. An animation dog just isn't happy without bones to chew on.
