Thread: Apply material across all parts of an object | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Thank you both for your help, I was wondering if there is a way to apply a material in the same way you can apply a pose, but it seems that it is not possible.
Thread: Poser new release Firefly + material room crashes | Forum: Poser 12
I tried Y-Phil's preview settings and so far I have had no crashes, but the CPU usage gets too high about 15% exactly as ChromeStar said.

This is very annoying, I hope they fix it soon.
I am using the latest release of Poser 12 and when I go into Material Room Poser crashes most of the time.
To test it first go to the render options and select the Firefly render mode, then save and go to the Material Room and try to change a texture manually... (at this point poser usually crash).
I have not had this problem in previous versions of Poser, so I hope they fix it soon.
I'm using Poser 12 on Windows 10. My PC set up intel i7, 32GB RAM, nvidia GTX 1070.
Thread: Python can set a render-engine and render, but can it also call a preset? | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Nice.
It would be great to save the image with the same name of the current Poser file...
The question is, how can I get the name of the current Poser file?
Thread: How to find the height of a figure in python? | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
Thank you Adp001. I was thinking about measuring according to the type of figure, but I think your approach is better In the figures with size morphs we can check the values of Y Scales

Thank you so much for the script, by the way... Is there a way to save the preview render settings and comic book preview options?

So it would probably make more sense to create a specific file in the destination folder that gets all file names and paths from the zip. And to delete only what is in that file on request.
Then you don't have to dig out the source zip file from any backup (of which you might not even remember its name).
Maybe we could have both options, some files have the list of files included in the readme files, the problem is finding the right readme file and getting the file list

I must mention at this point that I am not necessarily the typical Poser user and use Poser only for special purposes. It would be great if you could describe a typical use case to me. Then I would know more exactly how such a delete function should work.
You can compare the date of the files to verify if they were modified, it would be great to give the user the option to backup only the modified files, zipped and move them to a backup folder so they don't get in the way
