ooooh - another wierd one! I like this, wouldn't bother with the hands - can't see anywhere where they would really fit in, personally. (LOL - who do I think I am?? Guffaw!) Saying that, I would soften the character's edges a little bit so's he doesn't look so 'cut out'. But cool idea & basis for a mint image!

There y'go, Alpha! Resized down to save load time. Cross taken with the usual MX1200 from a low viewpoint. Not much work to the cross itself, just a sanstone texture. Variated blue background added, lens flare thrown in, drop shadow upover on the cross itself, background texture and a single lighting effect. Voila! p.s. Thanks again for the comment - for the first time since I started playing with cars I've found something I really feel at home with. Apart from Grand Theft Auto, of course, but that goes without saying! :-D

Glad to hear she's on the mend, Syyd. When Chris was in hospital over xmas she was left with a 7" scar up her stomach that she couldn't come to terms with at first either - it's when they realise the alternative that the acceptance starts, and with the love & support of you all there I'm sure it won't take too long. Regarding the competition, judging this time ain't gonna be easy! The standard of all of the entries is brilliant! I wanna say well done to everyone too! It's awful to have to pick winners....!

LOL - This really brings back memories! When I was 16 me and a mate did a 6-day 800 mile tour on Mopeds - 35mph top speed! We parked up at the car park just beside this bit and when we came back to our 'peds a Proper Biker was there with his Harley and loads of kids around him going 'oooh' and 'aaaah'. We felt a touch belittled and waited until he'd gone before we went back to get our little machines.....

But Marshy, I thought New Zealand & Oz were always hot, Sunny & Summer Bay type places....can't remember anyone dressing up warm in Erinsbrough....?!? Jack, it's only a week since I was there & I'm missing it already! It's only about 2-2 hrs drive for me, so I'll be back there a bit more this summer! Brilliant pics, btw. I like the kaleidescope jobbies!
