I like the "render farm" ability...
but dang youuuu e frontier (shakes fist at them)... ive been saving to still update from 6...
I so was gonna buy 7 after seeing some of you have da bugs worked out... and I get this email....

I do have poser physics. I havent seen how I can use it for dynamics tho, just gravity.
Ill read the destructions in it once more..

I have been playing P6 for a bit on this.. I dont claim to know what Im doing... but through trial and error, ive learned that the best result is this that Ive found for what I like..
1 open your texture imgage in a photo editor,
2 convert to greyscale
3 change image to NEGATIVE... (here, the moles and raises on skin always seems to be white(r) now, which is what you want.
4 save and name whatever --just add "bump' to the original file name, and stick it where ever the file name is.... so i know its a bump ...
5 in poser, open the bump, connect to the "bump" or "displacement" nodes. Ive tried both, .. reset the default value to .005, and adjust from there. the default .08 is waaaay too much. use .005 whether bump or displacement...
what I do, is i unattach the texture node in the material room, and play with and adjust the bump on the model before I even attach the texture. this gives me a good render of wht bump with no colors so I can see if it need to be cranked up (value) or down.... the number value is real senitive. my .005 setting will get you to see what i mean, but ive never used anything past .007 or .008

Well deserved comments I'll add. I gotta ask, is there a "proxy" model for the entire V3 body too? or just the torso... that thing is awesome for setting up anims... and viewing in realtime..

it worked for me.. i just left the CC# fields blank,chose paypal, and hit the continue button. everything happened automatically from there.

Im talking about a 30 frame animation... Heres what I mean specifically... I made a 30 frame animation... it runs too slow, so I want to cut it in half. How Ive always done that is you type in your "source frames" of 1-30... and in the destination frames, type in 1 -15. after I did that, I then immediately enter "15" in the end frame (replacing the 30) in the anim pallate thingy... it asks are you sure you want to delete frames? (meaning 16 -30)... hiut yes, then the entire animation is now there, but from 1-15... and 15 frames long. This has always worked in P4, PPP, and originally P6 too untill SR1, however, in P6 (pre SR1), In pre SR1, it didnt work either, but I found by accident that if you manually entered all 4 #'s whether it was a change or not(source and destination), then it would work fine. SR1, I cant seem to get it to work at all..

I found a "workaround" for the bug before SR1 tho... maybe I shoulda posted it. I found that when you retime the frames, you had to enter your #'s into all 4 boxes, even if they say what you want already, and it worked!
Now it dont work at all.(afterSR1)

I'm sure there is a common relation to artists into other creative realms.. (like music, martial arts, etc.) All right brained activity stuff. Me for example, ..totally right-brained.. it takes puppets and a script and funky music to explain something to me I will later understand and remember (lol).. I myself, record (home studio) and play several intruments (drums, keys, bass, rythm, lead, vocals). I play "lead guitar" and sing in a band (hobby) regularly. Many of the other band members are also artists too... Also, a 26 year pratictioner of Martial arts.. There are many musicians in that circle... Of all that, it is all hobby for me. I have a "day job" that no one has offered me to quit because of the above stuff... heeheehee Hmmmmmmmmmm

I dont know nuthin about that.. but My thoughts were how can stuff still be for sale in MP here if theyre for a copyright violation model? loophole or not, its a matter "ethics"... Violation = pull the product, deal with it twen the parties involved.. AND to me, it would make sense to pull any specific produts that fit that model too. As a "layman", I "assumed" that the model just had to exist out there somewheres, as there was clothes and such for sale here at RO for it. See? :)
