Quote - Yes, he works in P8 and Pro, in Pro works with include Morphs when conforming, the Great Apollo Scale dials doesn't works with include scale when conforming but if you scale the body parts one by one like with other characters it does works.
Sorry, I didn't quite follow that. I remember only a tiny bit of Poser from owning a copy back in the 90's. I see at the Apollo site that it has a couple hundred parts that you can dial morphs for. Are you saying they may not work? I don't understand what 'conforming' means in your post either.

Thread: Displacement maps from zbrush | Forum: Vue
I have posted a request for someone with experience with Vue/3DCoat at the 3DCoat forum. Maybe there will be a reply. I'll post back here with any news.
Thread: Displacement maps from zbrush | Forum: Vue
from Cornucopia 3D forum:
**Vue will not have any problems with the low level .obj, that come from Zbrush, but Vue is unable to read the textures generated in Zbrush. If you can texture your Zbrush model within Vue, this may work maybe, or sometimes.
The only way I found from Zbrush to Vue is to bake down all the Zbrush textures normal-, displacement-, cavity-, and texturemaps in a separate application like Maya, XSi, Max,........... to a game level.
**Comments?

Thread: zbrush to vue | Forum: Vue
The main issue I've been reading is Vue crashing importing ZBrush. One person reported that he saw improvement by switching from an nVidia 8800GT, I think, to one of the QuadroFX cards. I assume then, the more powerful the OpenGL support the better. But, holy moly, them things are expensive!. Any comments on going with QuadroFX or any other hardware advice tailored for Vue?

A guy over at ZBrushCentral will try it out since I don't have either of the programs yet.
Thanks for the great explanation. I'll post back here with the result.

Thanks for your reply.
Do you import a low poly ZBrush model and then somehow detail and paint it in Vue? I did not know Vue could do that.
Thread: Blender 2.45 TA-DUM! | Forum: Blender
I want to buy or build a workstation to work with Blender on. I have already seen the blender.org site min and optimal specs for Windows.
Any suggestions on what I can get for around $1200 Canadian that will be Blender-friendly, especially for sculpted models (I assume dense meshes)?
Thanks.
