Thanks for all the suggestions. I just can't get it done! UGH! I realize it should be few simple clicks. I've had to use mostly daz products ( was able to install their stuff) as I was unable to install Miki4 from CP with the help from smith/micro people. I tried everything but just couldn't figure it out! I'm leery of trying Rendo. I just wanted some decent content stuff to work on a few projects to begin with.

Hi Nails, Yes, I've done all that you have suggested. When I click on an character or prop within poser that requires the dson importer, A message comes up that says it is not installed/won't open. I double checked, to make sure it was put in the right folder.

Man oh man this is frustrating! So I added the dson importer to the "files (x86) Smith Micro poser 10 file. It's there. There is also a runtime file in this folder. The dson importer is just not showing up under script inside poser.

The more I post here, I think the more I embarrass myself. So, I cut and pasted my DAZ library to "add library" in poser and added it to the DSON folder. That didn't help. Do I need to add a runtime within the DSON folder here?

So, I see the DSON folder in my poser library. Could you restate the following and possibly make even more simple for me? " Once this is done you will need Poser companion files, as well as the DS versions. You must install both, the DS files to your DS Library and the companion files to your poser library." Still a little fuzzy on how to do this.

Thanks you guys! You are so much help. I got victoria loaded. Sheesh! Still having trouble loading the dress, but it will come. I appreciate you putting your help in plain english. Others have spoken in in a techno language I don't yet understand. I don't know protocols here yet, but Nails, I would like to be able to stay in touch with you from time to time. You keep things simple and easy to understand. Thanks again for all your wonderful help!

Thanks for all the help. I've spent an hour and a half trying to do this. I finally got the victoria folder in my poser library, but am struggling to get the victoria 4 figure loaded. I tried both a manual download of the daz figure and unzipping the other way. I just can't figure it out yet. Sheesh! The first time is always the hardest with something new. I want to use the victoria character in a short animation to show my wife for our wedding anniversary (41 years) next monday.

Hey Nails, Just purchased Victoria 4 base model and a dress. It's in my daz install manager. How do I transfer that to my poser content paradise library?Wanted to do a simple purchase to learn how to work with different vendors.

I forgot to ask in addition, are there other alternatives worth checking out? What about ease of use? Is it simple to import into poser and then proceed working from there. Is there software where i can take a picture and import that into a scene as as backdrop that will work with windows 7? I've seen this kind of software for a Mac, but not windows.

So found this on tiger direct. Would this be sufficient? Would the Intel Graphics 2500 work okay? Please forgive my lack of understanding of some of your terminology. I'm not sure what CUDA means or is. Would this computer work okay for Poser 9, 10, or 11 do you think?
