Thanks again for the help. TrekkieGrrrl, i tried your suggestion and saved it as a psd. When i bring it up in paint shop pro it says 200 dpi. So it does seem to retain the values better that the tiff of jpeg.

thanks for the info guys. I do want to have a certain render printed to a 8x10 and i just thought that a render with the size and quality setting would have been more than 72dpi.

Hey thanks alot for the info. I sure do appreciate it. I am sure my question was sort of lame but i am not up to date with the quad core processors. Plus i think going with the 64 bit vista might be a good choice also, thanks once again.

Thanks I have been reading for a couple of hours and i still havent found where anyone discusses if the quad core will work on vista 32 bit. ( but I still havent covered them all) Most references to their os is 64 bit. But in all fairness my post was off topic and should not have been posted here. My apologizes and once again thanks for your responce.

I have been trying to make a mat pose for two days now and i still get nothing. I made a mesh in blender and imported it into poser as a wavefront object. I go into the material room and add my material and save it. I then copy that to my pose folder and rename the extension to a pz2 file and use my text editor as the above tutorial states. When i reload the prop and go to the mat pose in the pose folder, nothing happens when i apply the mat pose. I am new to this but i have read several tutorials on the subject. It seems so easy so i know i am doing something wrong, does anyone have any ideals. Thanks......

I would like to think both of you for your responses. They were very informative. My system is maxed out with 4 gigs of memory. It was a huge improvement when i went from 1 gig to 4 gig. Lucky for me I went to the presidents day sale a while back at Office Depot and they had the memory required for my machine half priced for that day only. I grabbed 4 1 gig sticks installed them in about ten minutes and done. And yes i agree that replacing one item only creates the need to replace something else. Once again thanks to both of you for your helpful replies.

Update. Hey eveyone. After a couple of days i found my problem was in the way Blender imported the object. I had to deselect seperate objects from the blender import options box. Thanks to everyone for your help.

Yes i get the chest in a wire frame and the nipples are solid but you can not select them to edit. The rest of the chest works fine i can select polygons or vertices and edit them. The nipples will not move. I can move the chest around but the nipples stay right where they originally came up. The chest is completely seperate of the nipples. When i move the chest over it is like you have deleted the nipples. I tried some of my other figures and have the same problem. I have tried different body parts and everything works great. I can select and edit at will. Its just this chest thig that has me puzzled.
