Didn't I just say "hotspots" back in post 24? They don't well work with all browser versions, which is why I discounted them (- tafkat)

"PS Hey, where have you been? You don't come around Bryce forum anymore." Yeah, I know - been planning on doing a bit of Bryce recently but never seem to get the time. Just waiting for Bryce 6... :)))

day=say (seeing as "edit" isn't working - looks like someone put the "replace" function in the wrong place!)

"Well, no. Netscape does have its bugs, but it's not the security hole IE is. Listen to what scourge says: IE is part of the OS. Its "popularity" has very little to do with its quality and very much with the fact that it comes with Windows. Read what Tim Bray has to say. And use a better browser." I never suggested IE was popular because of its quality. The fact remains that IE's security issues have only come about because of people targetting it, and that is a result of its popularity. I use IE about 5 hours a day, and develop on it too, and I've found no problems with it. Patch your OS and everything will work just fine. Why would I want a "better" browser? I don't subscribe to the "slag-off Microsoft and be cool" brigade. I judge as I see it, and don't go off what other people day. "The current Netscape, 7.1, is better than IE in rendering both CSS and HTML." As a web developer I find that IE is currently the best at both CSS and HTML rendering, although it isn't perfect. Nowadays I only use CSS for formatting (and pretty much everything) and Netscape has some blatant bugs that should IMO have been fixed by now.

Well done to all, a great list there. DreamWarrior - I think you got most of them, but you missed out the Grand-daddy of all Brycers, jjsmlee! I've still got his gallery bookmarked in IE as "Bryce Beyond Belief" Zhann - it looks like there's an average of 5 images per person.

I love salted anchovies! And I used to eat tripe a lot, very nice if you can get past it looking like the flesh of a sickly giant maggot.

Squid... mmmm. I buy "squid in it's own ink" every week and dip bread in it. A bit more back on subject - Rudy - I was on Craig Mullins' site yesterday and he has a section where he shows some of the Final Fantasy concept scenarios he worked on. All the cityscapes (or nearly all) were rendered in 3D before he painted over them, so maybe these 3D concept phases are the type of stuff you'll be asked to do. He has images of before / after, 3D model etc. and I found it pretty interesting (if you check it out, it's not in the galleries but a separate gallery somewhere down the middle of the main page).

Haggis is great, if a little oddly shaped. Black pudding is excellent too (congealed pigs' blood and fat), I don't know if you can get it in the US but it's pretty common here. But I don't have too much of it... not particularly good for the figure : I've had a fair number of strange dishes but I really want to try bat and snake. Not necessarily at the same time. And grasshoppers.

Hmmm... My "boast" is that there's no food on earth that I don't like, or wouldn't taste, but I would certainly attempt to avoid a 10 day old rotting fish if at all possible.

... Thinks... hmmm, if Rochr takes this job then he won't have time to submit a cover competition entry and that will give me a better chance of winning... :)))))) Yeah! But seriously, DO IT!!!!! Don't turn down something like that! Excellent! OK, so I've never seen Pitch Black but I've seen the effects, etc. So don't be crazy, get to work ;) (Certainly sounds more exciting than painting a parrot, which is what I've been asked to do next week...) Let us know how you get on!

Damn American-isms, that's what it is ;) We'll be being burglarized soon, instead of burgled. But someone should tell Fowler that there's no singular form of "customs"! (well, there is, but it's not the same thing).
