Thread: How many sweaters can you have? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Welcome back, Rena! Great textures, indeed. Now I still only need to purchase Micheal and Vicky and all their clothes and ... yes, you may call me "idiot", cause I managed to miss DAZ's sale off. :o) But I'm really happy to see you back, Rena. I've always admired your work. - wal

I'm using MM V4.0 on a Mac with the "Virtual PC"-Emulator. Works just fine! A re-ordering-tool, working in the way as Mehndi mentioned it, would be a great addition! So, please keep on working on MM, Mason. Even if I had the money to buy the PPP, I couldn't get it, cause the German version isn't available yet. ( A big :-( to CuriousLabs, which is a part of a German company (egisys), AFAIK! ) - wal
Thread: Swingin' - Thanks to Bloodsong | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Nice! Where did you say is this playground localized? g I suggest, the movement of the breasts should follow the shin's movement (as they are now), i.e. " breasts flattended" for the most time the body is moving forward and "breast upturned" when swinging back.

Nice girl, nice clothes and textures, nice pic! I like that kind of dolls. I once saw some characters from the musical "Cats", but then I noticed the price tag ... sigh :-/ For the kid's clothes it seems that things have started to move, now. Great!
Thread: Thank you all and goodbye! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

Thread: kids clothes for ya :o) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Weird! Are you still working on the site, steve? My first attempt to download (a file with 1+ MB) broke due to a network error (default Netscape message :-/) when I was away getting a fresh cup of coffee. Second try. File size was only 650 kB now! Broke with network error after 50 % was downloaded Third try was successful at last, but file size was only 260 kB, and connection was incredibly slow (less than 1 k/sec)! ZIP-Archive can be decompressed and reveals 21 objects. Everything seems to be okay. I'm in the office at the moment and can't test it any further. - wal

Now that was fast! You must have worked on it before my last message, eh? Thanks a lot, Steve! There are some morphs for the kids at MorphWorld, all working for both the girl and the boy (Is there really any difference in the meshes?). But IMO the morphs don't make such remarkable changes/improvements as the MT's for the adults. I guess it's because the kids do have remarkably less vertices than the adult characters, let got Vicky/Mike. - wal

Wait a minute! :: Over to the Marketplace ... a cash register chimes ... Downloading ... comes out of the shop, studying the receipt: "Heck! Be it a supermarket next door or an online-shop, it's always the same. There are always more items in the basket than I've planned when I entered!!!" :: Thanks Dal and ClintH for the tip. I remember, Kimmarcus was talking about it but didn't noticed that he had finished his clothing pak. Looks really great! Alan, your Teen-Michael looks already great so far. It's a little work left on the face, could be a little softer, I think. Keep on going! Steve, poseable vs. conforming clothes: I suppose, it makes a big difference if one has started with Poser 3 or even earlier (like you) or with Poser 4 (like me). Although I know how to do the "pose trick" I'm way more familar with conforming clothes. And I tend to change poses, camera angles etc. in the very last moment - which is a lot more work with non-conforming stuff. Anyway, at the moment I have enough stuff to play around with. :: "Nagiko, boys, come in! Quick! I've a big surprise for you ..." A few minutes later: "No! No, no, no! This is my last word. I actually DON'T want to discuss the COLORS ...!" Sigh* ::

Shadowcat, if possible avoid loading and re-saving JPG-files (with a different name, compression rate or so), 'cause this results into growing loss of quality. Try it with some test image saved as JPG with very high compression and low quality (say 10 %). Open and resave it several times and you'll see what I mean ...! If you want to work on a downloaded image (usually JPG) later, you should save it in another format with no quality loss (but less effective compression), say TIFF, BMP or so. - wal

Maybe try doing it with AppleScript. Hm? Is Poser AppleScript scrip-aware/scriptable? Does anybody have experience with that kind of stuff?
Thread: Important Question Please Answer... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
::Yawn:: This might be an important question to you, Chcicken_Soup, but has been discussed over and over again in the past. Just browse this forum! Just go to the gallery and see what images can be done with Mike and Vicky. Then flip over to the Free Stuff section and see how much stuff is available for them for free. Finally, get your pocket calculator, type in "59.95 - 35 % =" and compare the result with what is in your wallet. - wal (not really amused about reading another "very important" question)
Thread: Kids clothing, do they exist? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with Bug. But in fact there's bad need for almost any kind of kid's clothing. Except diapers ... g I'm looking forward to your work, joeyb! - wal

I agree with all above! And the rest in German: Falls Du mal in Richtung Demark verreist, dann fahr doch mal die A7-Abfahrt Tarp runter und lass Dich von mir zu lecker Fisch und 'n "Flens" (herbes Pils) einladen! - wal (aka VelvetCat)
