Quote - ATI cards used to suck like a black hole several years ago, but their newer cards are very good; however, for Poser, you need better OpenGL support, which is Nvidia's specialty.
To bad that the newe NVIDIA cards are to big to fit into my computer :-(

Poser Pro is starting to sound really intresting!
Background rendering and render several images during the night sounds really great!!!
Here are the differense between regular and Base version
Poser Pro Full
- Fully Featured
- Maximum supported distributed rendering nodes
- Full series of Poser Fusion plug-ins
- Collada
Poser Pro Base
- Reduced Poser Pro Feature Set as follows:
- Limited to 3 distributed rendering nodes
- No Poser Fusion plug-ins
- No Collada Import, limited output (Geo, Text)
Can anyone explain in plain english please? (english isn´t my language)
If I create content and render images, base would be enough??

Well,
my computer started with a bang with smoke coming out of it this morning :-(( off to service and when they already had it open I asked if they could put in a NVIDIA GeForce 9600Gt they hade but it didn´t fit in my computer!!! so I got a ATI Radeon 4850 that is supposed to be better, I hope so :-) but I wouldn´t have been glad if I purchased a NVIDIA card to get home and couldn get it into my computer....so everything happens for a reason :-))

To bad it was the latest drivers that caused the problem, when I got back to the previous it worked.
I inted to bye the best I can afford but I really don´t know what is good for Poser.

No, I was looking for a much more advance filter and I found one. I do belive I can ge the same resault with PS only but it would be much more work and when you need two images with exactly the same color...it would take way to much time.

At least Daz knows about this, and I hope they will make som kind of "workaround". They are loosing income because of this, wonder how many just thinks Daz is down.

I´m using Firefox and use the plugin ProxySel LilOne wrote about on page 3, works really good, and I can login!
I really wish they could solve this soon!

Does anyone knows of a proxy that lets you login?
I know this is not a DNS issue, a ISP in USA have disconnected traffic from TeliaSonera (that many smaller company also uses) due to a conflict they having.
