It is GREAT. A few things. Looks like the fingernails are sunk in the tips of the fingers. Are they supposed to be that way? Everything is too symetrical. Almost NOTHING is Nature is symetrical. This is a real pet peve or mine! :-) Try to offset one side or the other. Try to use different gaping holes, sizes, coloures, textures, try to see if you can make some of the internal organs showing, etc. Just trying to help, Tankred
Nice texuring so far, but...you knew there would be one...he looks a little too puffy. Think DEATH and DECAY! The skin seems like it should stretch over the bones. Take a look at some roadkill sometime, especially a few day old carcass. There may bee some bloat, but that would be in the abdomen. There would be little sign of muscle due to the lack of blood flowing into it. The color scheme is pretty good, depending on where this guy has been laying around. Rotting brown, mildew green, bloodless flesh, all wonderful colors! His nose is accurate, but he has too much lip. Think more boney/emaciated, more muscle tone, but less muscle. Try to imagine the skin without that layer of body fat below, and somewhat stretched and dehydrated. A good visual may be rotting fruits and or vegetables. I think you are definately on the right track, I see too little dead things around here. Hope I'm not being too critical, nice work. Mark
I am so glad you like this guy C1rcle...it is always thrilling to see the work that people do with these guys :) btw...tankred and iamonk, this is a texture which is already in the marketplace, not a WIP/ That process is long passed :) But thank you for your views. I think you will find if you look at some of the product shots that you will find that there are many colour variations and there is also included a very emaciated body morph for Mike 2. This texture also works on grim for those who like the deadly thin look too. Rawnrr
I think I shall always work on horror characters of one type or other...though my current project is of a couple of "normal" human characters...eh..everyone needs a change :) (btw....if you like this type of character, you can also check out my mummy-pack in renderosities marketplace...he is pretty gruesome too) Rawnrr
I just bought it myself. It'll be great for those open caskets scenes--the ones dug up after several years. I wouldn't mind some textures like iamonk mentioned (decomposing bodies), but this texture far surpasses anything else I've seen so far. I can't wait to play with it.

He looks pretty gross to me! But I do see what you mean about the symmetry, on his chest. If the holes were more random, would have looked even better. Still, pretty eewy gooey! And that seems to be why I think that Poser people don't look real. They are symmetrical on both sides of their face and body. Real people aren't that way.
All the problems that people noticed are my fault it was a draft render, I was in a rush to play with him, I'll take more time over rendering him later when I have time to really sit down & see what he's made of. Also I've only used the first texture, there are several others I have yet to look at. I'm really going to enjoy this one :)
