Subject: Using paths?

When you go in the create menu there ae some paths and when I try to put them on my picture nothing happens...what are they supposed to do? How do you use them?

Paths are used in animation to allows for smoother movement. You can have a camera follow a path or conform an object to a path and have IT follow the path as you progress through your frames. They are not actual objects in that they don't render. The other use for paths in doing a multi-replicate of an object. If you conform the original object to the path the replications will follow the path in effect giving you a string of objects.

String of objects that sounds cool...is it a easy as you point it out to be?

Along this same thought the above link is a thread where I created a twisted tree using paths.

Aldaron, Ah I got it this time. When you posted this I hadn't yet gotten B5(metaballs) nor explored using paths in that way for myself. thanks for the link! - TJ
