Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 18 10:25 am)
Did you double check that when it reloaded, the body morph dials were set to 1.0 (Or whatever you had them at?) I know sometimes I can spawn and create full body morphs, save them set, and they load in at 0. (If I am understanding, you are talking about saving and loading the cr2? Unless I am reading wrong. :D)
ok I took a v2 tweeked her figure out so she looked the way I wished...and in a pose folder I hit save and it gave the option to load morph targets. I said yes and saved. I then reloaded a fresh untouched V2 so I could test it and the face morphs worked great the body never changed. is there a secret to doing it? I get a great face change but the body doest

Unfortunately since it's a V2 character (if I'm reading correctly) you can't distribute the CR2, so you will have to make a PZ2. The best (almost only) help I found is a tut. on doing this with CR2 edit, from which you can deduce what you need to delete when opening a (copy) CR2 in Notepad. Change the extension of the reduced CR2 to PZ2 and you should have a distributable MOR-pose. I'm surprised there's nothing on this at DAZ Arcana.I am geting so confused. {not real bright in this department} ok I cant distrute a morph for v2? but I see them all the time in the mp and infree stuff. what about the textures? I thought it was ok to do that? if I just make a texture pack do I have to write to daz? I was reallllly hopeing to get this out but I am geting abit ....confused if I even should.

Custom morphs that you create entirely on your own you can redistribute the morphs so long as the morphs are squished. (This means that only the changes are noted. The actual object can not be reconstructed from the morphs.) If it requires the DAZ V2 morphs, or is built from a combination of DAZ V2 morphs, then you have to make custom MOR files which save the dial settings but not the actual morphs. I have several characters that have custom morphs (made entirely by the merchant, not using DAZ's morphs in any way) embedded in the .cr2 file. If you want to use any other V2 morphs, then you have to use Morph Manager to move them over from the V2 .cr2 file to the new .cr2 file. If you list a few of your settings (breasts 1 at .123 for example), I could show you how they would look in a MOR file. Hope this helps, Cres

ok I finally have put aside the time to sit and finish the package I have been working on.. I got a MAT editor and all that great stuff. been working on eyes...lips..wings...all this good stuff...then while testing some of the textures I was like ok I reallllllly like her face..Ill make a body and face morph too. all fine and dandy. cept one thing.. I shaped her body to what I wanted and all...went and saved it to a folder that is her charecter folder, I thought it was a go... I closed that window opened a fresh window..opened and untouched v2 and hit the seting in the folder to load my morph........ the face changed but the body didnt. I saved the morph channels so I dont know what the poop I did wrong??? bad enough I am trying to get this MAT thing worked out so the package is user friendly. now this? HELLLLLLLPPPP OHHH PLLLLLLEAAAAAAASEE HEEEEEELP!
