Subject: blue geisha MAT

I'm new to poser so this might be a very simple question, I hope someone will have a good laugh and also the answer.
Sometime ago I downloaded the Ecstacy FS Blue Geisha MAT for V3 but I can't get the face right. I've tried eveything I know (not really much) but the face stays where it is, on the left cheek. The bodytexture seems OK but what on earth do I have to do to get the face in place?

Can you post a pic of the problem ?

Sounds like you are applying the texture to the wrong Vicky. Blue geisha by Ecstasy is for V3, are you applying it to her and not accidently to V2 or the V3 to V2 model?

Thanks for the replies, unfortunatly the solution is not that simple. I checked again but it is the V3 model I applied the texture to. As compiler asked I attached a pic of what's happening, it's not even a bad effect but not what I want.

Obviusly, you're applying a texture to a model it was not meant for. The MAT seems to work for the parts (eyes blue, etc...) but doesn't apply the texture right. You should triple check that it's the texture meant for V3 that you're using, and that it has not tampered with. Then try to apply the texture by hand to see if it works any better.

Ah....hm....I'm wondering if the V3 figure might be one that's remapped (perhaps to accept V2 textures) and that would be the reason the V3 texture placement is off? OR the texture has been converted to fit onto V2 & you're trying to apply it to V3?

ehhh... guys, girls I triple checked... Feel rather stupid, is being a newbie a bit of an acceptable excuse? Seems my model was in fact a V2 as suggested. Thanks for all your advices, they made me check better. Here's how she should look. When I think of another silly question, I'll ask.
