This might be an old topic but something is driving me crazy I am ready to light an indoor scene (a room) I place my spotlights,(4 in a row ) and then I try and adjust the position using the editor rotate bally thing..... But no matter how I turn or twist them (individually, or grouped) they always position (Or go back to) the same "default" position I hope someone out there knows what i am talking about and had an answer for me cuz its really making me nuts. roch222

Then you're apparently doing something wrong. Or your copy of Bryce is bewitched. I just tried rotating a spotlight and it goes wherever I turn the Rotate ball. Unless... When you rotate the spotlights, are you certain you pull the right axis? No offence intended, but I found myself many times pulling one when I wanted another. What you describe sounds a lot like you're rotating the lights just around the Y axis. BTW, holding down CTRL and clicking on one of the axis dots (the ones that sprout X,Y and Z when you hold your pointer over them) around the light (or any other object) will give you a small two-way arrow and will enable you to rotate it however you choose. HTH.

Your copy of Bryce is the one that the DTE doesn't work with the patch installed, correct? Sounds like another thing like that... None of that should happen, you really ought to send an email to Corel about that.

I just traced my footsteps to the events leading up to the light caper Spotlights only do the "flip Back" thing when the lights are grouped and "visible Object" is checked the the light editor How strange?
